There will be a new Gears of War.
Not this gen,but there will be a new one.
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Not to mention, Bungie has moved on from Halo and doesn't work exclusively for Microsoft anymore, so Halo 4 has a big question mark surrounding it, considering it is being made by 343 Industries. How often do new developers take on established franchises and succeed?
The Gears of War Trilogy is over.
What's next, Forza 5? 4 Forza games in one generation?
Kinect will save the day.

Why do you care, you don't like your 360. I have no interest in a Vita or 3DS, so i don't spend my days worrying about what games it will or wont have.
[QUOTE="arkephonic"]
I think the lists are pretty indicative of why the Xbox 360 is my least played and least favorite platform.
I'll admit, I like Halo, but it isn't like PS3 and PC don't have their own amazing FPS games.
ShadowMoses900
Why did you even buy a 360 if you don't like it? Just sell it if your not going to enjoy it, it's just a waste of space at that point.
But some people like 360 and it's excluisives more and your list isn't going to change that.
I bought it so I could play Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo Wars, Halo Reach, Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, Forza 2, Forza 3 and Forza 4.
It would be kinda silly to talk about games I haven't played, ya know?
Plus, I don't sell games or consoles, so my 360 is here for the long haul. I have a cloth laying on top of it so it doesn't collect dust.

Well, I do own a 360. It would be nice if I could remove the cloth on top of it preventing dust build up some day.
If you don't own a Vita or 3DS, then no, you shouldn't care about them.

I like Halo, but I found Gears of War to be overrated, and Forza is great but I've never been into racing simulations. I enjoyed all the Halo games.

So as far as i read in your earlier post, you've only played the Halos, Gears and Forzas on your 360 right?. You do know there's a huge backlog of games on the 360 that aren't Halo, Gears or Forza, more than enough to keep you content until more games you like come out for it.
I've got a PS3, Wii and 360 collecting dust but i know there's plenty of games for them that i havn't played and could anytime i want, so i don't complain because its my choice to leave them collecting dust, just like its yours to do so with your 360.

I have 34 360 games atm.
I think lists with total libraries would be kinda interesting, not just exclusives. Say from games rated 80% and up. I understand why people in SW think the 360 is crap, it's because they also have PCs and PS3s. If someone was to buy and own just one console though, 360 has the bigger, better library of games. I think the system libraries go like this; PC>360>PS3>Wii.

True, I guess 360 would be good if it was your 1 and only gaming platform. But for anyone with multiple gaming platforms, 360 is clearly the weakest with the least amount of value.

PS3 owns the 360 pretty hard when you consider everything, exclusives, variety, dated old games vs recent up to date games. Number of different IP's etc.

Why don't you take another look at the 360 list. Oh look, multiplats and "collections/remakes aka Halo Combat Evolved" is up there too. Read the thread moron. And read DireOwls post. Moron. Oooh, someones mad
HD Collections are one of my favorite things about this generation. I like playing the greatest games from last gen in HD, with additional content and features, trophy support, and all on 1 disc. It's my favorite new trend in gaming, and I wish more HD collections would release. I could list a laundry list of games I want to see in an HD collection.
Shadow of the Colossus and ICO Collection is my favorite so far. I ended up not having to track down a copy of ICO, and I got both games NEW instead of used with additional content, features, HD resolution and trophies. It's like the biggest win I have experienced in gaming yet this gen, other than when I played Metal Gear Solid 4.

so why isn't ghost recon advanced warfighter,90 on metacritic on the 360's list then?MLB The Show is also on PS2 and PSP, but those run on entirely different engines and are entirely different games. I gave PC Crysis as an exclusive for the same reason, so I have to be fair across the board.

What's wrong with people thinking Justin Bieber is a better musician then Bach? They're fkin morons, that's what lol. Taste is one thing, quality is another. Popularity does not equal quality. Eddie-Veddermy wife thinks wii-fit is better than any game i play including batman AA, quality is down to personal preference and how much we as individuals value something, only a moron would call somebodys personal tastes wrong.

It's because Advanced Warfighter on PC and 360 are the exact same game, running on the exact same engine. It's a direct port.
MLB The Show games on PS3 are not the same games as MLB The Show on PSP and PS2. They even run on completely different engines. Not only that, they look completely different, and even play differently.
Not to mention, there is a significant drop off in meta-scores going from PS3 MLB The Show to PSP and PS2 MLB The Show. All those games are doing is using the same name, think of it as a cash in. They're entirely different games, running on different engines.
The PS3, PSP and PS2 versions of MLB The Show literally all run on different engines from each other, don't look or play the exact same, and they don't even look the same.

(formerly) high social status or the distinction associated with it 6. (Music, other) musical tone colour; timbre 7. (Philosophy / Logic) Logic the characteristic of a proposition that is dependent on whether it is affirmative or negative 8. (Linguistics / Phonetics & Phonology) Phonetics the distinctive character of a vowel, determined by the configuration of the mouth, tongue, etc., when it is articulated and distinguished from the pitch and stress with which it is uttered 9. (modifier) having or showing excellence or superiority a quality product http://www.thefreedictionary.com/quality The balance board is fantastically well made and the games is well coded and does exactly what it claims to do so i would definitly put Wii-Fit down as a quality product.

Wouldn't that make the PC version of Dragon Age Origins exclusive too?The 360 version is in fact different. I added it to the 360 list of exclusives. You gotta give me a break, I own it on 360, but I don't play every single game on multiple platforms.
Is there a way to take cover in GRAW on 360? I own GRAW 2 as well on 360, and there is a way to take cover behind objects, but I couldn't figure out a way to take cover in GRAW 1 on 360.

Why?
GRAW PC has differing misions and mission structure, as well as being in a completely different genre of games.
DA:O PC has the same difference perspective-wise with the console version than GRAW has between versions. It plays completely different, you are able to be much more strategic with the PC version than with the console version which is more action oriented. And I've never understood the missions thing since that would make a game like Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 exclusive: different missions, more playable characters, different weapons, new bosses, etc. These exclusivity considerations are very subjective.yes you can takec over in GRAW, you just press your self up against an object (like MGS 1).The 360 version is in fact different. They typically are pretty subjective. Someone puts forth an argument, we all debate it, and then typically a mod or someone will make a call.

IIRC you can move to an isometric view. It doesn't differentiate as much as going from TPS to FPS though.
i do feel that kurinaim has put foreward a good case for DA on the PC to be considered an exclusive though, i think it requires further discussion, maybe a poll.[QUOTE="lundy86_4"][QUOTE="delta3074"]is it as big a difference in perspective as FPS to TPS? i don't know, have not played the PC version of DA.delta3074
