"GameStop are EA's single biggest source of revenue, accounting for 13% of total company sales over the past six months. Wal-Mart were next, with 11% of EA sales"

"72% of US game sales came from just seven retailers, while in Europe the top ten retailers accounted for only 33%"

Xbox 360 - $218 million
PlayStation 2 - $73 million
Nintendo Wii - $59 million
Nintendo DS - $47 million
PlayStation Portable - $21 million

EA is terrible! Other than Madden what do they have? GH is better and Nintendo kills them in casual games..Other than madden what do they have that doesn't suck? If they are so awesome why are they laying people off and closing bases? EA used to be good, now I couldn't care less about them! They shouldn't even have the NFL licence as NFL 2K was better in almost every way. They will continue to make games for them, but I won't buy them.

Mass Effect wasn't made by EA and NHL 08 was dwarfed by winning eleven series...that was good enough to make me like soccer. And orange box? Have you seen that? I'd rather play Halo 3, MP3, Resistence, Farcry.....etc

I use steam for anything Half Life, and I'm pretty sure MS is still publishing Mass Effect since the deal was signed when Bioware was independent.

The PS2 has a base of over 100 million.....The PS3 has one of about 5.5 million compared to the 360's 13.........And the PS3 would outsell the 360 because?

If the numbers were reversed and EA stopped supporting the 360 the cows would be saying the 360 can't survive without EA 3rd party support. But since its not that way, the cows say no one needs EA. Laughable.Just_Osmo

I hate EA. But if you removed every EA Branded game from one consoles the other would flourish. It's sad that Madden has such a hold on the US because we would be better off without it.

And yet the Wii sells better than the others.....seems nintendo can survive without them. Nintendo is strong enough of a 1st party dev that they really can live without most EA games and in some cases they do. Is the orange box on the Wii? Nope. Nintendo has bigger casual series like Mario.
