yeah.. it is 1440x900. I re-sized them in photoshop to make them upload quick and fit the screen. The point was to show the FPS anyway.

The GX2 is a dual GPU card (two vid cards in one, hence the GX2) so two display adapters will show up for one card....sorry you fail

The 9800GTX is better than the 8800gt but for those 5-10% higher fps is not worth double the price. And recommending a 9800GTX over a 8800GTS shows you prefer to pick higher numbers before doing some research. :roll:

The truth is that those two cards are very close in performance, im talking in gaming in general not only in crysis.

Why don't we hold Crysis to console standards? If we do, then it is all the more impressive. How about running Crysis on a 720p HDTV? Looks good, yes? An 8800GT will have no trouble playing at that resolution. JosamaBinEating

from what im reading from noobs, sli 280 gtx cant run crysis @ 2560 x 1600. teh cards get pwnt. 1 280 gtx has trouble running the game @ 1920 x 1200 2xAA . this is with geforce 177 drivers. azell07

Maybe at very high but hey can the PS3 run KZ2 at 1920*1080p? Can teh xbox360 run Mass Effect/Halo3 at 1920*1080p? Native, no they are far to weak for it, still the resolution 720p is valid right or should we say the are not becouse it isto low of a resolution? lol

The image he posted has a fraps number to the left sayig 31fps, tell me if that is not worse than 98% of all the console games that run at 30fps or worse!

Considering that image is not from a gx2 especially not with a medium-high mixed setting at that res with that framerate!

Certain people would rather ride a Rolls Royce than a Mazda. The fact that it is not laid out pre-set like consoles is part of the attraction to pc gaming. Besides that, it's not primarily for gaming.

i played it on high, everything else maxed (8800 512 gts). looks 10 times better than anything ive ever seen.

even if you post screen shots from medium settings, it will still be way better than any console game...

Not really the cows and lemmmings are the bigger graphics whore omg cod4 has better lighting on ps3 etc, gears is the graphics king you know how it goes.
