So did I but that didn't stop me from Beating up Drug Dealers for loads of money, Responding to random people on the street, Flying Airplanes, Jumping out of the Airplane and pulling out a Parachute, Running through the Woods, Participating in Country Races, Participating in Gang Wars, Getting my Character Buff, Getting my Character Fat, etc.....

San Andreas had a whole lot more to do than 4.

Yeah, it's fun at first... and then you're like, GOD... I wish the story was better so I'd actually be playing the game.

But GTA4 makes up, just because the graphics are so damn nice + physics of the guy flying out of the windows while car crash ( I love doing stunts)... also saving your stunts, looking at other stunts from the server.

thee game was solid built,well paced,replayable and last but not least a good fun story driven game that didnt have drab characters.

Also a robust yet underrated Multiplayer portion aswell :S dont see why it shouldnt win awards cause it deserves most of the praise it gets cause its just one of those games it was built to near enough perfection and one of the few releases i can sa this gen that havent had some form of crippling bug that always ends up affecting me *stares at Bethesda and TDU2*

I agree , the host advantage in Gears 2 was beyond ridiculous.

I didn't say MGS4 mainly because I'm not just looking at GS's score. UC2, has won so many awards, has gotten so much praise that it's almost false advertising if you ask me. Is it because there weren't that many good games out that year(much like Halo CE)? Well, to be fair at least Halo CE was innovative for console shooters, UC2 literally did nothing innovative. For a game to win so many awards, I'd expect it to be innovative I really do.

...but UC2, well let's just say there are other shooters out that were more innovative than this game. I really don't see the mass appeal. Perhaps it was just generated by the reviews. Was it because of the graphics? That it was some kind of technical feat? Cows argue that all Crysis is just a benchmark tool, that the gameplay was so average and mediocre. Well, playing UC2 I'd say the same. The gameplay has such a been there done that feel to it that I'm glad I just rented it.

I've honestly never played a game where I felt was so undeserving of the awards it got. Must have been a real boring year. Honestly, it didn't do anything for me. Perhaps if the game wasn't so praised, I wouldn't be such a harsh critic, but the game is honestly no more special than your averate tps. The game received so much praise that I felt obligated to play it. Now that I have, I must say I feel jipped.

"Assassins" creed brotherhood is the most overrated game this gen. It gets 91 in metacritic despite it being by far the worst game this gen. It's the worst game this gen by far. Pure crap.

U2 is absolutely perfect. Awesome gameplay, graphics, characters & voice acting, music. What more is requiered? Yeah the story was kinda meh but it didn't matter so much, but that's why it didn't get 10 everywhere.

U2=BEST RATED EVER.

My issue is, why should something do a lot new in order to be able to receive great critical acclaim? If you take something tried and true and polish the crap out of it, I think it deserves the attention it would get.

if anything TC, i think it's on YOU to explain to us why you think otherwise. you've mosty just ranted without going into detail as to why you feel this way. you could just come to the conclusion that you just don't get it(or just don't want to).
