I feel bad for Square-Enix if they are contracted to only keep FF13 exclusive because they have a very good chance of loosing a lot of money. Also do not say tons will buy that because there is no proof. Uncharted was supposed to be a huge seller also and it is not. Ps3 users in general do not buy many games and the user base is not even close to what the PS2 was when the other FF games came out.Eltroz

they won't lose money the only way they'll lose money is putting a game on the 360. Japan does not love the 360. its a complete waste of time too even consider this. plus this is uncharted not ff. ff came out for the psp a month ago and it sold pretty good, that all the proof you need.

For November my money went to Rockband and COD4. That's about $240 in games I spent last month. It's not Uncharteds fault, just a lot of competition out there right now for your gaming dollar. I will buy it but it's going to have to wait for a bit. EmperorSupreme

I played the demo, and it is pretty awesome. I am getting it for Christmas...so make that at least 117,001 sales - or whatever the number actually is.

You wanna compare like for like? Mass flop reached a million worldwide sometime last week .

Uncharted figures are until end of November (also no link for these numbers) and only include North America. Bearing in mind it also only launched in Europe a week ago, and already stands at about 112,000 over there - that equates to worldwide of around a third of a million already.

Considering the install base on the two consoles, this isnt bad at all, especially when we knew it wasnt going to sell that well, nor was it as hyped as much as mass effect.

Now your probably gonna accuse me of "yeah you would say that now!failz lol", i still firmly believe this will easily sell a million worldwide sooner than later. Mark my words. Ratchet had a very disappointing start, but latest estimates are about 420k and should be about 600-700k by end of holidays (worldwide). Heavenly sword had a much worse start but is now at around 620k (i think this may be included with 80gb in Europe though)

It also has more competition for software around holidays (cod4, ac, etc). Also, ps3's biggest market is now Europe

Maybe the PS3 has less install base. No PS3 exclusive (Final Fantasy or Metal Gear Solid 4)is heading over to the 360 that is fans wishing for that to happen so they will not have a reason to buy a PS3.

High School Musical Wii: 180k

Sonic Mario Olympics: 330k

Uncharted: 117k

Now I can kinda understand Mario and Sonic, thats kinda like a casual gamers Wiisports 2. After all, Nintendo got these casuals to buy their system, so they have to release games to get these guys to buy other stuff.

But HS Musical and Lego's outselling Uncharted like that? I dont really give a crap about the userbase differences that is RIDICULOUS and PS3 owners need to spend less time on message boards perhaps and go spend some money on exclusives. Noone is going to make a PS3 exclusive when Uncharted, Lair, Heavenly Sword, NG:Sigma, Motorstorm, and Ratchet dont do any substantial numbers at all. In fact the majority of those games TANKED.

Things just get worse and worse for the Ps3, with Uncharted selling a whopping 7 k in its 1st week in Japan, it must have put up some staggering worldwide numbers lol

those NPD #s are November only. VGchartz has Uncharted at 122,000 for Nov. so they were only off by a few. and uncharted just released last week in EU

Insomniac and Naughty Dog are 2nd party i believe...not 3rd. And according to most sources they're working on more PS3 projects so it's kind of a moot point.

As for other companies...who knows.

GT5: P will probably be the biggest PS3 after the million seller motorstorm(i bet you forgot about that) this year.
