Motorstorm was well over 1 mil sold before the bundle, but it is helping it reach 2 mil though

As a happy ps3 owner I can honestly say: WTF other PS3 owners? Buy the damn good games!!! I know there are only about half as many ps3 as 360 but that means software sales should be half as good not 1/3 (or less) as good!!! WTF ps3 owners? munu9

Well I am, I both R&C and Uncharted when they came out (actually I got Uncharted 2 days before its official release date). Well I can say i'm one of the 117K that both it in NA.

Yeah it ashamed that PS3 exclusives aren't selling very good at the moment but by this time next year Uncharted, Ratchet, HEavenly sword ect should have sold around 1 million + copies. For example Heavenly Sword sold 0.62 millions copies and ratchet sold around .5 million.(i know itvgcharts but their numbers cant be that far off)Thats bad for major console exlcusives.

I dont really see why PS3 owners aren't buying!!! A great exclsuive come out and it sells poorly, it kinda odd.while 360 owners for example buy games such as mass effect, bioshock ect. Each sold a lot of copies but still the PS3 has around have the install base than the 360 but games are selling 5 times worser. Also other multiplat PS3 games sells such as AC and COD 4 sells 0.5 million plus copies.

I myself is getting a PS3 for x-mas. I plan on buying ratchet and uncharted and maybe warhawk.

I've never been a fan of the MGS series. But damn, the execs at Konami have to be nervously pondering that 117k number, especially being that MGS4 will NOT even be a Holiday release like Uncharted.

SMG, with an extra week, managed to sell 1M more than Uncharted. I guess Uncharted wasn't the system seller cows hyped it to be.

I thought it was SHIPPED since Bioware reported the sales numbers. Shipped = Sold to devs & publishers.

But ya know, 1M with nearly 500k sold in the USA alone is possible.

People are not seeing it clear, they think "install base of 6.5M and it sold only 117k in first week?!!!", it is not 6.5M in NA, it is only almost 2.5M, for first week sales, it is great, I think it sold much more world wide.

As for the hype, reviews part, I don't think these 2.5M in NA are all hardcore gamers and go search for games in websites, no, most people goes from weekend to weekend and see what's new.

I would agree with you if I didn't see what the PS3 is getting next year, and undoubtedly the year after.

The 3rd party games actually sold pretty well, so the argument isn't really valid. It is disappointing to see Uncharted sell so poorly though, I expected at least double of what it received.the-very-best

COD 4 is a known series, when a gamer/casual goes to the store and see COD4 and Uncharted, do you think he will ignore COD4 and go with Uncharted?

Same goes with any other proven third party series.

As for Assassins Creed, it is marketed well and the presentation of the game make it more appealing, anyone ( a gamer or a casual)see a commercial of Assassins Creed would anticipated more, plus words spread faster than any marketing.

For me, Assassins Creed is my GOTY and it is the next GTA, so, do you take Uncharted over GTA?
