PS3's big exclusive for the year, Uncharted, only moved 117k total. Its doing WORSE than Ratchet if you can believe it. 3rd party PS3 exclusives are history, done, finished.

If PS3 developers are as blind as their fanboys, then this will mean nothing and the developers will continue to develop exclusively for the PS3
I think one reason it didn't sell well is because of the crowded release schedule. The only reason I haven't picked up Uncharted is that I am asking for it for Christmas. In the past few months I've bought alot of PS3 games, but with the holidays coming up, I need to spend as little on myself to get gifts for other people. I think if Uncharted was relased after Christmas or maybe even in the summertime, it might of sold better.
seriously this is actually huge. devs will see this and will go exclusive to 360 or more likly multiplat and they should because thats where the money is.white45e
Great. Welcome to the collapse of gaming. Sony screws up on the PS3 which (theoretically) loses developers due to slow games sales. Those developers see the huge number of casual titles such as shooters, racers, and football so that is all they make.
In the end, consoles end up looking like PCs where unless you only care about one or two genres, you will miss out on %99 of the games available.

That makes sense, but its not like the PS3 has tons of great games that were released around the same time (not being argumentative, being serious). Also, this game was advertised more than MassEffect and released before it. Also new X360 owners have more distracting games (GeOW, BioShock, Halo3, OrangeBox, Cod4, AC, Kane&Lynch), but still purchased MassEffect to the effect of 1M games.
Also games sell best during the holidays, even when they have compeition ( i think). That is why almost all the big games are released between September and Dec 31. Most the big PS3 games scheduled for next year will be released in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

I think alot of people spent their money on COD4 and AC and GHIII, which is alot of money when you factor in the price of GHIII and even Rock Band (Well, in the US anyways). Every year around this time, there is one game, that is a really good game that gets missed during the crazy holiday season. I think for the PS3, Uncharted was that game. If MGS4 is released any earlier then Q4 2008, I'd be shocked.

QFT!
Mass Effect had no problem breaking the Top 10 and it came out after Uncharted. It's also a new IP from a respected developer, just like Uncharted.
The problem cows have is that they hype (and rightfully so) games like Uncharted to be better than anything on x360. That the game will push PS3 sales over x360. And then cows don't even buy the game. :| Cows need to start walking the walk.
You think Konami didn't take note of horrid R&C and Uncharted sales? And you think Konami didn't notice 4 x360 games in the Top 10......3 being from 3rd party devs?
