Ever since Drake's Fortune I've loved uncharted more than any game this gen.

I give the edge to Uncharted 2 because it's just a complete, superb all around package. Multiplayer, better graphics, better gameplay, I think Uncharted 2 is better.

ME2 has far more interesting characters and plot, but the subpar (at least I think it is) combat and overall gameplay really bring it down for me.

I haven't read the whole thread yet because I don't have the time or attention span but I'm guessing it quickly turned into a fanboy war. Anyways I can't really vote because I've only played Uncharted 2, but they both look like great games.

I feel the PS3 is a superior console (right now), and I voted for ME2. I own them both.

Tough choice. I give the nod to ME2 because of it's ambitious story, great cast of characters and awesome gameplay. Uncharted 2 was awesome, but I prefer the Sci-Fi stories over it.

Uncharted 2 has a better score than Mass Effect 2 on Gamespot, so it's a better game. Lulz.

Also, Mass Effect 2 is a multi-plat so it doesn't matter.

It saddens me that I really have no interest in ME at all. Thus Uncharted 2 wins by defualt for me.

I feel as though lighted hearted is goving some credit. Polls on an OPENLY bias sample are useless.

unfortunately these polls turn itno mostly "which system your a fanboy of" i dont have both so i didnt vote.

ME2 wins? Damn, that's nice. :)

I like both the same, though.

Both are awesome, but the last mission, the suicide mission in Mass Effect 2 is just more awesome.

After watchin all the comments from start to finish....I cum to see many fanboy sides..some genuine opinions...others seems didn't played either.....

My conclusion on this very difficult topic to answer:

As u all know both r 1 hell of a game and r sequels to the games that started in this gen. Before sayin anything...I love my both consoles/pc and played both these titles till death..ME2 on X360 didn't had time to again play on pc.

So let me compare side by side in every dept.:

1. Visuals: Its a no brainer unless ur a blind fanboy...(Uncharted 2:AT Hands Down. Best on any console till date)

2. Story: Its a personal preference..Uncharted has a hollywood ****& mix while ME2's was a deep story carried from ME1.Though story was better in ME1 but 2 really managed to give fitting way to 3....

On personal level I will have to choose Mass Effect 2 (It was more defined bcoz of ME1, Uncharted 2's story was just a twist & turns)

3.Sound: Both have done exceptionally well..Though I loved the Uncharted 2's theme ..Shambala...Mountains and all a bit better than Sci-Fi theme of ME2.

4. Presentation: This category there is no doubt that both of them were upto mark..From start to finish both provided 1 hell of a ride with insane cutscenes..

5.Gameplay: Both r 3rd person shooters.....ME 2 had a bit customization but since its RPG..so it dosn't matter. Duck & cover worked fine for both....Uncharted 2 had the pace....and ME2 had the variety.

DON'Ts:

U can't compare ME 2 campaign length to Uncharted 2's..as its an RPG compared to action/adven.

Another thing I want to add:

Sure The Suicide Mission of ME2 was the X-Factor compared to Uncharted 2's ending....But U can counter it with the Train Sequence of Uncharted 2(Never before seen a level like this).........

Ultimately my deciding factor based on this:

1.U got to give credits to the testament of Uncharted 2 & Naughty Dogs for their hard-work to a franchise that was easily under-rated compared to Bioware and Mass Effect.

2.Uncharted 2 improved on every level from story to visuals to gameplay to length to sound and added multiplayer..also...while Mass Effect was itself a great game and I felt 2 things lagging in ME2 (STORY & RPG Elements).

U can't even take 1 single flaw of Uncharted 2 over its predecessor.

So that was the deciding Factor for me.....

Kudos to Naughty Dogs..they really proved wat they r in this gen. Ofcourse there is no doubt ME2 is Bioware's best yet (My fav. Western dev. RPG). Also remember Bioware is a much senior and proved dev. than Naughty Dogs.

i'm not a mass effect fan at all, at least not the first one. i loved the graphics and the art design but the combat (at least in the first one) was just way too clunky, to me at least. my friends keep telling me to check out the second one, and i have the demo, i have yet to give it a try though. i just recently completed uncharted 2 and it was great, so i'm going with that.
