Uncharted 2 WON'T get a 10 on Gamespot...

Yes, of course this 'perfection' can be improved upon as technology advances. However, again, I'd like to point out that they clearly state that the game is Perfect within the constraints placed upon it by the technology of the day.charizard1605

Well, I'm pretty sure whatever score they give to it, they'll do it based on their experience while playing it, not on how it looks worthy of.

My personal opinion is reserved for when we can play multiplayer and see if it's any good.

i doubt it will score a 10, but im sure it will reach the AAA mark.

I know, I disagreed with that, and MGS 4's 10, as well. As per me, no game this generation has really managed to do anything that would make it deserving of a 10. Again, you guys, and the GS reviewers, might just have a different idea of what all a game needs to do for a 10. But I think the game should be a mould apart, or at least, redefine its genre, forever.

Good thing it is only hyped AAA then, huh? To be honest with you, though, I do not think it would really suprise anyone if it did at this point. In any event, I still think it will get 9.5, myself.

lol great way of thinking tc...... if the game deserves a 10 it should get one.....i have only played the beta and its awesome if it has an awesome campaign why shouldnt it deserve a 10?it even has great online and co-op what more do you want for a title?graphics are awesome and gameplay amazing.i now really hope they give it a 10 so that some fanboys that judge a game before its even out leave...

This is GS, it has a fun forum comminuity but lets be serious. The reviewers at GS are worse than any other even remotely popular gaming site. They just lucked into their jobs by process of elimination. Any score is possible from these idiots.

why does it matter anyway... Does it make you a lot more successful in life if it does or does not score a 10? Well... while the graphic looks great, I'm still not sold on the main character, he just looks so plain and blah, not even memorable. As I said, GTA and MGS came out in the same year within a few months of each other. It wasn't that unlikely considering the caliber of both those series.

They both were overrated. Especially MGS. You needed to have played all the previous games to understand the story, and without the story, that game isn't all that great.

GS very very rarely rates game the same or higher than IGN...I believe the last game to do so was Wii Sports Resort...

And to the TC so what if UC gets a 10? Why do you care so much? Maybe the game is actually worth a 10, from what I've seen, and compared to other tens i think Uncharted is very deserving of a 10 even though it probably wont get it.

And you say a game has to be revolutionary to get a 10?You said OoT deservedthe 10, but really that was the exact same game as Link to the Past just with a few more items, and in 3d (which was the standard anyway at the time)
