Uncharted 3 is Definitely Console Graphics King (Extreme 56k)

Just finished an all night UC3 playthrough, its a good game, I like the 2nd way better, in fact that scene in the Uncharted 2 when the helicopter blows away that room and everything in the room is flying everywere, so much going on on screen at that one time, that is one of the best moments I've had in gaming. I felt Uncharted 3 had none of those moments. It looked better but I found they sacrificed something, it just wasnt as much fun.

I thought Halo Reach looked amazing. :P Jawdropping at times. Really underrated visually, imo :)

Indeed, a lot better, crisper, smoother and more detailed

In Uncharted 3 backgrounds i can barely make out the objects, vegetation due to the mediocre image quality and jaggies

Of course U3 has the pre-rendered cut scenes, those look good

One of the only console games to make me go "WOW"

I dont play UC multiplayer, sorry, I love the single player stories, thats all I buy them for. Plus I'm not great online, getting old now and losing my skills lol.

All these jaggies and mediocre image quality mean that if one game cant be graphics king, this is Uncharted 3 for sure imo

UC3 looks way better than that piece of trash Crysis 2. Crytek must've cut the entire art budget/department when developing that game. I don't know why you back such an awful eyesore. RAGE stomps all over Crysis 2 visually. UC3 is also better looking than Gears 3 judging from the same screens saolin keeps posting.

You lose ALL credibility calling Crysis 2 ugly. Get real Hermit. Bu bu bu but it looks like crap compared to the pc. No **** sherlock. I swear hermits should be forbidden from judging console graphics. And then you wonder why you guys get labeled being elitists.

i disagree,gears 3 looks better IMO + those are all bullshots taken with the uc3 editor which add more detail and effects..the real graphics don't look like that..

most definitely the best console graphics i've seen yet, the game is just gorgeous. while gears 3 does look great at times, it's just not on the same level as uncharted 3. the only games i've seen come close are god of war 3, killzone 3, rage and red dead redemption.

On a serious note, Uncharted 3 does look incredible, and I believe it has the best graphics I have ever seen on consoles. Granted, there are so many other things to take into account, and with the number of gorgeous-looking games out right now it all comes down to preference.

I think RDR art direction is what made it look so great, all the different types of environments looked so natural, it had beautiful scenery. Nothing is better than running with a posse gang of friends through fields and praries as the sun is setting in the distance.

But Uncharted 3 still beats it and every other game in your list. And that says something considering that all those gams are great looking.

I don't know, I just borrowd it from a friend and played a little MP with him in splitscreen. I didn't play the campaign yet, I'm waiting until Christmas to get it. The point is that I did play it, but you can belive whatever you want to.
