Uncharted 4 sales surpass Halo 5...a new king arrives(Naughty Dog)

Halo is long gone. No one cares about the series ever since Halo 4. MS has killed the series, and MS with no Halo is a company with no fanbase.

Games that usually get high or very high attractive rates on consoles are usually the ones that attract people to buy the console.Games like Wii sports and Super Mario Bros and even Mario Kart 8 had high attach rates on the consoles they were released on because these were the games that got people to buy the console. Your excuse doesn't even work for games like GTA 5 and BO3 which also have high attach rates on the current gen consoles. Both games currently have an attach rate well over 20% and maybe as high as 35%.

@super600: I meant to say extremely high attachment rates for first party exclusives. It's a given that games like GTA V, COD, etc. will have incredible attach rates on all consoles.

The difference is the Xbone doesn't have any exclusives that reach the highs of Uncharted 4, Bloodborne or even Ratchet and Clank and it has less exclusives in general even if we count games also on PC as exclusive.

False. Two of the forza games released on the xbox one have similar critical recpetion to ratchet and clank if I look at MC and halo 5 is pretty close also. It's not impossible for the xbox one to get ratchet and clank caliber exclusives.

Well that bar the PS4 has set is pretty high. Before this year the PS4 library didn't look that appealing either though. Ratchet and Clank is an 86 and Forza 6 is an 87, so let's not get crazy here. Bloodborne and Uncharted 4 are rated higher than any Xbox One exclusive though.

This statement is false since Forza 6 > Ratchet and Clank on MC. And this is just exclusives since the majority of 90+ rated games are multiplats.

Last of Us did have good tactical team based mp. The maps were good and the crafting added a layer of strategy to it. Uncharted 4 mp is tacked on trash though I will admit. It won't last long. They need to hurry up and get that co-op ready.

i've played TLOU and UC2/3 online. They're shit tacked on multiplayer modes. The only thing interesting about any of it was the mid match crafting in TLOU.

Ill give TLOU credit for doing something interesting even though I didn't think it was particularly fun.

The mp stinks dude. Horrible maps, mysticals and sidekicks all over the place making it incredibly random and unbalanced, people flying around on ropes. Its a chaotic mess. The only thing similar to TLOU mp is the improved gunplay. Uncharted 2 had the best mp in the series but the single player has always been where Uncharted shines.

Did you even bother to check out the links provided? Nope. No where in the original link, no where in the first original post have any evidence of Uncharted 4 surpassing Halo 5. There's no actual confirmed data that shows this, so this thread is misleading and does not hold any truth and should be closed. Also the PS4 is the market leader even currently in NA, so it's pretty odd for nearly 2 years now their exclusives never debuted at the number 1 spot like how MS and Nintendo did last year on NPD. But it's a new year and I have a feeling Uncharted will be number 1 over Overwatch for NPD since Overwatch comes out the end of the month. And I was not hyping Halo 5 to the moon, it's just it should be recognized that Halo 5 only came out a few days before the month ended and it debut at number 1 on NPD, no PlayStation game have done that or could ever do that, which is odd when they are positioned to do so since they are the market leader.

Usually a game that defines the console especially in nintendo's case since they have a tendency to produce a lot of these type of games gets a really high attach rate.Like I said in the post you quoted multiple nintendo games have really high attach rates and it's not only because their's nothing to play on those consoles. In Mario Kart 8's case one of the biggest reasons to why it's attach rate is so high is because it's one of those games that get people to buy the WiiU if they are interested in it. It's pretty positive critical reception also helped to along with the amount nintendo marketed the game. Bundles helped that game a bit, but it wouldn't have sold as well as it did if it had little mindshare or negative mindshare like some WiiU first party games (i.e. Mario Tennis Ultra Smash).
