Uncharted prove xbox360 is more powerful than ps3.

Gears of war use's unreal engine 3.0 which is a graphics engine that wasnt made ground up to take advantage of xbox360 hardware features.

Uncharted uses a graphics engine built ground up for ps3 hardware and the graphics still arent as good.

the character models less detailed, the textures very little parallax mapping etc.

imagine uncharted for 360 would of looked even better than ps3 version alot better.

marcus has much more detail in his face than, drake does in his who torso. you cant even see veins on drake or scars like marus on gears of war.

Maybe its AI and size of level. length of game? Its not all about graphics this gen. gears and pretty much every game looks bad.

I got eyes, but I also have logic to go along with 'em. Drake's Fortune is currently an unfinished game still in development. It's not fair to say its visualls prove the PS3 is weaker when it's not even complete. Same goes for Cows bashing Halo 3.

All i can say is gears is set in closed enviroments that are fairly linear, from what ive heard uncharted is set in an open enviroment but correct me if im wrong :) so you would expect gears to be more deatailed than uncharted, finally uncharted is nowhere near finished... please correct me if im wrong

One would have nothing to do with the other even if Gears ends up looking better than Uncharted . They are different developers and they are different games(especially style wise). " If Uncharted were on the 360 it would look better " ???? That is just speculation at best . Some would say BS even.

You think so? they seemed pretty small when i played them...but then again i spent far to much time on act 3 :) enjoyed it so much, all i can say is my badKevanio

i own the game i know, the levels are much larger than what we've seen in uncharted, not to mention all around superior physics/graphics.

nope, a jungle is acouple hills and some low res folliage thrown in.

I'm surprised Tomb Raider looks that good...I guess the brighter colors do help things look better. Still, the whole 'swing a golf club and break a grunt's leg' bit in DF is still pretty cool.

a way, Sony's vision for the Cell was different. Whereas Microsoft had come to the drawing board with a vision for the best gaming CPU, Sony had come to IBM and Toshiba to try to create something different, the fastest and most powerful processor for streaming data. From an engineering standpoint, the Cell processor is impressive, but the Cell is not purpose built for games. Dollar for dollar, the Xenon xbox360  CPU is going to offer better overall performance.

GeOW unfinished ran at 15FPS and looked like any other UE3 game

gears of war was running 15 fps on different hardware than xenos ati gpu, on different/less powerful architecture.

But gears of war did look better at e3 2005 than it looks and play's today because it was run on pc hardware with better texture filtering etc higher res textures got downgraded on 360 only 512 mb ram./

Yeah and u still fail because halo 3 still doesnt come close to gears of war in graphics and yet u try an bash Uncharted Drakes Fortune. Besides I think for a game that doesnt use the best graphics engine in gaming which is unreal engine 3, Uncharted Drakes Fortune should be complimented for almost looking just as good as any unreal game ive seen so far, so it must mean the PS3 doesnt really need Unreal Engine to showcase its games unlike most of the powerhouse games graphically on the xbox 360 are mostly games using the unreal engine 3, such as gears of war, mass effect, rainbow six vegas, and others. Even your best franchise game halo 3 doesnt look as good as gears of war and mass effect, and to make things even worse for u fanboy, Uncharted Drakes FOrtune looks better then halo 3 graphically and Uncharted isnt do out till the holiday seasons, so look for it to even look better then what u see now.

Yes that would happen to anyone who plays a game for the first time and seems like they dont know what there doing. Its just like me starting ninja gaiden and recording myself playing it for the first time, what do u expect? U were hoping for me to be a master ninja already? Besides the game looks awesome if u get down the buttons and all and know what u are doing.

plants and trees are very hard to do in a game

Sorry people, but it's fact xbox360 already has games out graphically superior to any ps3 game shown at gamersday.

especially overhyped uncharted even perfect dark zero's jungle levels look better.
