GTA4 is a AAAA game.

LittleBigPlanet isn't fun.

Red Dead Redemption is mediocre.

The Call of Duty series is actually pretty good.

Whah? How does that work? It was only a tiny fragment of the game...

Yeah but instead of focusing more on developing the singleplayer they just took time and money out of it for the MP. Brotherhood's SP was so forgettable compared to the first two.

I will respectfully disagree with this, but also point out that the multiplayer was under development during AC2, but Ubisoft decided to save it for Brotherhood because it wasn't quite finished. Also, I'm fairly sure that they had a seperate team working on the multiplayer.

Duke Nukem Forever is a fun game

Every Rockstar game is seriously boring and/or bad. LA Noire is the only decent one.

Games aren't even that expensive.

MGS4 was not that great. Least liked of the MGS series for me.
Battlefield and CoD look the same to me.

I think this is a popular opinion that most people on this site agrees with.

Nintendo franchises are generally very boring and get better scores because of nostalgia (so long as they keep to the formula).

It's unpopular to like the game here on SW, is all. But it is still a great game.

• A game isn't inherently bad or ugly for not painting it's environments with all the colors of the wind /pocahontas.jpeg
• Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts was possibly 2008's best game of the year. Better than the original Banjo games.
• The xbox 360 is an excellent game console.
• Sonic Adventure is probably the most over rated game ever. It's not even the best 3d Sonic game and isn't even remotely good.
• Half-Life is one of the most over rated game series ever and it's story really isn't particularly great by any means. Even by the genre's standards.
• Payed dlc is not an inherently bad concept(not saying it's handeled well,just saying it's not inherently bad)
• Selling content that's already on disc or making some of it pre-order only access is not inherently bad either(again, I'm not saying it's always handeled well).
• Call of Duty is not a bad game series. In fact, it's a good game series and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2, World at War and Black Ops were all good games.
• Battlefield is almost as milked as Call of Duty. Battlefield fans who complain about how milked Call of Duty is are a bunch a of hypocrites
• The shooter genre is not a "casual" gamer's genre
• regenrating health and the two weapon limit are not inherently bad game mechanics. Health packs and a no weapon cap aren't inherently better and Duke Nukem forever having regenerating health and a low weapon cap were the least of it's problems.
• Final Fantasy VIII, IX and X were not significantly better than VII if at all and Final Fantasy VII is no more over rated than any of those other Final Fantasy games.
• Final Fantasy IX is not under rated and it's not the best Final Fantasy game ever.
• Pokemon is less inovative the Call of Duty and is probably the most milked game franchise of all time.
• Call of Duty has not ruined game industry at all.
• Beyond Good and Evil was not underappreciated. At all.
• Female game characters aren't treated any less realistically than the average male videogame character.
• Gears of War and Call of Duty does not have a terrible plot.
• Adding a multiplayer component to a game series that was originally strictly a single player experience is not an inherently bad thing.
• This gen is not in desperate need on new ips. There have been alot of new properties this gen, actually.
• Annualization is not inherently a bad thing.
• HD ports are great and they may actually superior to just remaking a game, Especially if the port is of a last gen game.
• 3d is not a bad thing.
• motion peripherals are not a bad thing.
• A developer is not inherently better for being from the east or the west
• This console generation was better than the last in almost every regard.
• The free to play model is probably the biggest danger to console gaming and the typical block buster quality games we've seen for the past decade.
• A game can be too long. Okami and Tales of Symphonia are examples of this.
• I miss the strong presence of the rythm game genre that we saw back in 2006-2008
• Story and atmosphere are not the most important aspects of a game.
• 2008's Prince of Persia wasn't wrong for not punshing players for dying. It's goal was to not waste the player's time and not destroy momentum and progression. I'm not saying every game should do this but Prince of Persia wasn't wrong for doing it.
• linearity is not an inherently bad thing.
• The number of children in multiplayer shooters is greatly exxagerated and it's pretty stupid complain about it when it's pretty easy to mute them.
• Team Fortress 2's, Halo's, Battlefield's, CoD's and generally any other popular multiplayer shooter's community is not really inherently better or worse than the other. They're all full of uncooperative annoying jerks.

• The wii is a terrible console and failed in every way in every shape of my imagination and didn't meet a single one of my expectations and gave probably the least amount of enjoyment of any system I've ever owned.

Rainbow Six 1,2,3 > Rainbow Six Vegas

TLoZ ALTTP > TLoZ OoT

GRAW 1&2 PC > GRAW 1&2 Console

System Shock > Bioshock (except story elements)

CoD 4 had awesome SP and MP.

Deus Ex wasn't that good.

The Metal Gear Solid franchise is at times the absolute pinnacle of video gaming.

Dragon Age: Origins and Demon's Souls both were substantially better games than Uncharted 2.

Killzone 2 has some of the best multiplayer of any shooter.

GTA IV deserved the ten.

Mass Effect 2 isn't nearly as good as the first game.

Ninja Gaiden is grossly overrated and just frustrating to play.

FFXII and FFXIII are both excellent games in the FF franchise.

I cant stand HL2 and have never and will never understand the praise it gets.

Resident Evil 4 ruined the franchise.

The Conduit was a decent shooter for the Wii.

Will from Advance Wars: Days of Ruin looks like a female.

inFamous 2 deserved it's score.

Uncharted 2 is a boring platformer and a boring shooter.

Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom is better than most of Nintendo's titles for the Wii.

Killzone 3 went the CoD route and ended up being bland and boring.

Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is a good fighting game.

I think Zelda OOT deserves a 6/10 at best.

I played the game for the first time 2 days ago and I was highly disappointed.I quit after starting the quest for the tree.

Konami's Hell Night (Ps1) was totally creepy.

Batman AA > Assassins Creed.

SW makes gamers fanboys, and when you're a fanboy, you appreciate games less.

Pirates HAVE ruined PC gaming.

I thought that this was the general opinion. In fact, AA is probably one of the most universally loved games on SW.

Resident Evil 4 has s*** controls and is generally overrated.

Shadow of the Colossus is one of the most overrated games of all time, and also has s*** controls.

Gears of War is boring.

Half-Life is shovelware. As well as Half LIfe 2 and the Left 4 Dead and Portal series. In fact, Team Fortress 2 is the only game by Valve without the official shovelware seal.TheFallenDemon

Zelda is overrated.

Pokemon is one of the best RPGs in gaming.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion were great games, even without mods.

Well, let's see. :)

-The Sonic games aren't that great (not bad, but not great).

-there is nothing wrong with linearity, even when there is much of it.

-Shadow of the Colossus was not amazing or that great (again, not bad, it did have it's merits, but the gameplay was quite lacking)

-Everyone is saying how they think FFXIII was good, I'll take it up a notch and say I prefer it to Tactics. Enjoyed the battle system of XIII more, enjoyed the technical and artistic look of XIII more, XIII had a more memorable soundtrack that I enjoyed more. Neither game's story impressed me and left me disappointed in the end, so that's a moot comparison. (Tactics writing was far superior though, gotta give it that.)

-Metroid Other M was a very good game.

-Twilight Princess was great. It was as enjoyable as the other 3 3D Zeldas.

-Okami is nowhere near the level of a good Zelda.

-Zelda: Minish Cap wasn't that good.

-the best 2d Zelda games were the Oracle games. (and between those two Seasons > Ages)

-NES and N64 were Nintendo's worst consoles.

-I enjoyed Megaman 4-6 more that 1-3

-none of the 3 NES castlevanias were that good. Super Castlevania IV was better than all 3 combined, easily.

-Graphics DO matter. Maybe not as much as gameplay but that doesn't completely invalidate graohics. Pkus there's more to graphics than just looks.

-No More Heroes 2 > No More Heroes 1

-Mario Kart Double Dash was the best Mario kart to date (only thing that makes it worse than future titles is the lack of online, even then I had mnore fun playing DD locally than I did other MKs.)

-There is nothing wrong with DLC is implemented properly.
