Haha, kinda funny that you bring up military and civilian, one thing I do know as a fact is the Government are cheap bastards when it comes to technology in and around the civilian aspect of things. Hell DMVs still have CRT monitors (hand me downs), prisons here (50 miles radius around 10) still use file cabinets with hundreds of people chasing around real physical files. Government is cheap and they always go for the lowest bidder when it comes to technology. It's always the private sector pushing the limits of technology. No I am not talking about CIA or stuff you see in movies with all their hight tech gizmos. I am taling about real world stuff that has to do with civilians, the government is WAY behind.

You got that wrong. The RSX, the PS3's GPU, doesn't need to be "powerful" because the CELL works closely with it, so when you put them together, the processing power will be impressive. The CELL does graphical work as well. Proof is here.

You got it wrong. The CELL only helps the RSX in catching up to the visuals of the Xbox 360s Xenos, and thats where it ends. Catching up to. The Cell processor on paper is a powerhouse, but when Sony decided to cut costs on other parts of the PS3 they severly bottlenecked this processor and it cannot do what it was intended to do. See muliplats where the PS3 was leading platform and still fell behind the Xbox.

Uncharted devs used a lot of "tricks" to fake yet still execute a good looking game, the benifits of a 1st party dev. This is nothing new its been done since the SNES days and before. At the end of the day I had a awesome time with this game. But it's not a technical graphical powerhouse like you guys put it out to be.

I'm sorry but that have to be the stupidest thing I've read today.

PlayStation 1 game? Lol, no. But I have to admit that Witcher 2 video provided looks a bit better than Uncharted 3. This is the latest game that PCs in 2012 can do at its maximum processing power, and Uncharted 3 is only slightly worse than this and it is being run by a console! It's crazy if you think about it. So that means the PS3 can almost outrun the PC. Very impressive for a console.

I have no regrets of forking out £425 for it. It was worth it, I'm loyal to PlayStation. I really enjoyed my time on Resistance: Fall of Man multiplayer until some new games come out. Soooo much fun!

Again, PS4 will be day 1 purchase for me. No matter how much it will cost. Because it's freakin' PlayStation!

Wow. People are stupid. They complained about the high price at launch, but LOOK AT THE PROCESSOR! It's a CELL! Wake up and smell the coffee. Look at the high scoring PS3 exclusives it has now. The 360 is unable to achieve these kind of games. Gears of War 3 failed to look better than Uncharted 3. Even the original Uncharted looks better.

There's no way that "Sony mistakes have helped Xbox 360 to succeed". That statement is false and I've seen no evidence of this.

These screens showcase some of the new aspects of what UE4 can achieve. They are not the graphical limit of the engine however. We will see more at E3.

PS3 isn't superior to PC fool, "PC" isn't a platform that you can even pinpoint. It's an ever evolving and un-standardized system that can be whatever the user can build it to be. Saying PS3 is superior is as stupid as saying it's unquestionably inferior.

PS3 has a ceiling just like all consoles...for the most part PC has no ceilings that prevent it from doing better so saying PS3 is superior only makes you look silly. Certain pS3 games look better than vanilla PC games graphically (even some 360 games) but do to mods a PC game could always get a makeover and become a better lookinggame.

The reason why I called you fool is because what you said was outlandish, just like some of the outlandish comments for butthurt hermits in here who try to say that games like UC and GOW3 look meh when they have won awards and have been praised by other developers for graphics all over the industry.
