For now... It wont take long for that to change though.

I'm still rocking a computer from 4 years ago. I'll upgrade after the next-gen consoles have released, and I assume any serious PC gamer will as well.

Only a matter of time before everyone has higher spec'd pc's than whats inside an x1 and ps4 though.  What, did you think everyone was rocking an 8800 GTX the day that gpu became available?  Derp, overtime, the PC community as a whole will have stronger hardware.  Although, the enthusiast pc gamer has better hardware than what's in the ps4 and x1 right now!  This is not an opinion, it is a fact.  History will repeat itself.  Why do you consolites do this every gen?

I did read the OP, including every other post...  My post is not necessarily directed at the OP, but at all consolites who are claiming ownage even though the PC gaming enthusiat crowd have been using better thardware than next gen consoles for the last 2-3 years.  Heck, most of the hermits in these forums have high end rigs that obliterate next gen consoles.

Now this is very true.  Hell my Laptop with an i5 and 8gm RAM GPU still runs older games no problem and would easy outclass the next consoles even with a modest GPU.  I can run Bioshock on it respectively with an onboard chipset lol.  I just saw that article and knew it would be the ultimate SW thread for immediate retribution.

Steam isn't all of PC gaming, not even close

That said, a lot of "PC Gamers" don't even have GPU's, they have cheap pre builts, so i wouldn't call them PC gamers, they play LOL/DOTA 2, maybe some Team Fortress 2, but thats it
