 Cry some more stupid lemming. Casuals and dudebros don't buy $500 consoles at launch. It's the hardcore gamers that do, it's always been like this since the NES. If M$ really wanted casuals and dudebros they should have priced it at $300 or less. Their marketing is confused just like the whole console design has been hence the constant 180s they've been doing since E3.[QUOTE="Kaz_Son"]
[QUOTE="kingtito"] Are you seriously this dense? People aren't going to buy a console just because of this but they will buy because of this AND everything else the console can do. Why is this so hard to understand?kingtito
Haha I'm crying about what?
Says who dumb@ss? You speak for every casual and dudebro? Were you picked on as a kid or something?
NES wasn't $500 at launch back then and neither were any other consoles at launch except the PS3. You have no idea what people are going to buy so why are you trying to speak for everyone?
Confusing to you because you're obivously just not smart enough to comprehend yet. Don't worry kid, it'll come with age.

LOL, I'm not a kid and you're an idiot. Casuals will not buy it at $500 + tax at launch. You must sipping on dat kool aid if you think they will. Enjoy your weak piece of shit overpriced Kinect Box.:lol: I couldn't give two sh*ts about using a GAMING device to watch TV with. chrisrooRLOL Judging by the dislikes on that video...
Well, considering how new Blu-rays were, it was a great deal for a player. And if you were looking to buy a gaming system, it was just a bonus that it came bundled with the player. That's not even relevant to this though, because there's no 'new' technology bundled here. Just existing technology thrown together on a system that should prioritize GAMING. TV, netflix, and streaming isn't new technology. I'm not going to go out of my way to pay an extra 100 dollars for something that isn't new or proprietary.[QUOTE="chrisrooR"][QUOTE="RR360DD"]And what about the millions of people who bought a PS3 just to watch blu rays?
RR360DD
I know it was a great deal, the only reason I bought a PS3 was for the blu rays because it had no games at launch lmao.
Anyway
There doesn't need to be new 'technology' as you put it. Its all in the software. As an all in one device, there is nothing out there to compete with the XOne.
And I think you'll find MS is investing DOUBLE what Sony is in games at the minute, so if MS aren't prioritising gaming, then I guess neither is Sony LOL.
Because people don't give a flying f*ck about an all-in-one device, especially when they already have functioning devices that do the job already installed in their homes. That's exactly WHY MS is making such a dipsh*t move, and it's why nobody's trying to compete in that market. It's because people already have devices set up. MS is basically trying to convince people to throw away their other technology in favour of their all-in-one device. What they DON'T realize is that people want a GAMING DEVICE. And you bought a PS3 for the exact reason you were just grilling it for. You're not very bright, are you?And what about the millions of people who bought a PS3 just to watch blu rays?[QUOTE="Kaz_Son"][QUOTE="chrisrooR"]Tell that to the lemmings and M$. They seem to think the reason people buy consoles is too watch TV when we already have been watching TV for years without the need of a shitty $500 device.RR360DD
But you cant watch blu-rays without a blu-ray player. When the PS3 came out for awhile it was the cheapest blu-ray player. Once stand alone blu-ray players got cheaper than the PS3 people started buying those just for watching blu-rays. So I fail to see your point in this.
You can watch tv, do fantasy football, surf the internet and everything the xbox one lists as a feature already on hundreds of devices that do the same thing and in most cases less than 1/5th the cost of the xbox one. I have a cable box with a DVR in it, I stick a 80 dollar blu-ray player on the tv that has wireless abilities and suddenly I can do 90% of what the xbox ones features are.

RR360DD
Have a HTPC? You can do everything the xbox one does plus a whole hell of a lot more. Hell, you can put a kinect on the HTPC and even do the motion/voice stuff on the tv.

Proof? Oh? You have none?
"especially when they already have functioning devices"
Well done. The whole point of the ALL-IN-ONE (ps. the hint is in the name) is that it does it all without you needing 5 different things on at once.
"it's why nobody's trying to compete in that market."
Uhh Amazon is working on something to compete. Google is working on something to compete. Apple has potential to compete with the Apple TV depending on how they update it this year. The difference is, is that these devices will likely do a lot of what the XOne does but will only play android / iOS level games (rather than next-gen games) plus the lack of Kinect etc.
"What they DON'T realize is that people want a GAMING DEVICE."
MS don't realise that? So tell me, why are they investing $1 billion in games? Why was their E3 conference game after game after gamer? Why do they have double the exclusives announced for the XOne than Sony do for the PS4? You're not very bright, are you?

Poor casuals might not but not all casuals are poor. Let's also not forget most consoles are sold AFTER launch.
Dumb@ss, I play on all consoles. Unlike your def, dumb and blind @ss I don't limit myself or blindly follow 1 company.
