Why the heck is BC so important? It`s not like your Xbox 360 will self destruct at any point. I will simply place my Xbox 720 right next to my Xbox 360. If I want to play a Xbox 360, all I do is switch from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2.Â
And yeah, these rumours makes sense. I understand that its impossible for MS to deny always online when the "Xbox mini" is online.
And why on earth doesnt gaming sites like IGN, Gamespot, Eurogamer and on, publish positive news like this? They all like to publish crap about consoles.

What? the HDD being option-able was a good idea from an economical standpoint as was the optional wifi adapter considering they supplied a 5m ethernet cable to start with, if your playing online you should be playing on a hardwire anyway, HD-DVD/blu ray were niche options on release and In all honesty had no business being in a game console, the only reason Blu ray was a part of the PS3 was Sony trojan horsing to win the wider format war. I'm sorry in this case MS had the better approach even Live fee's at the time were reasonable when u did a comparison of the available services, admittedly now that PSN has caught up considerably the value is certainly questionable. regardless at the beginning of this Gen MS gave cosnumers options, Sony's offerings were dictated by their agenda in the wider format war and it cost consumers Money and left the door open for MS to woo alot of 3rd party support. offering Consumers options to personalize their experience is without a doubt the better strategy.

I own 2 360's this gen and 1 PS3 Â and 1 Wii. Â I will probably own 1 360 and 1 PS3 next gen I don't like limiting myself when it comes to game playing. unless Wii U Â picks up I have no intention on purchasing it.

These are good news, and sounds legit as well. If true, MS offers hardware based BC. Sony only offers stream based emulation, and that sucks IMO. Sony confirmed that the PS4 won`t require always online and won`t block used games. Soon Microsoft will confirm the same thing. Now STFU.

I really don`t see why the lack of true BC is such a big issue. The Xbox 360 will always be there. If it`s such a big deal, just ducktape your 360 to your 720. OMG, but then I have to switch between HDMI 1 and 2.Â
This does sound like the more accurate and detailed of the rumors. If so it pretty much owns all the cow trash talk bar teh GDDR 5 nonsense, even down to emphasizing Kinect is in fact not the focus. Told the cows not to jump the gun.
The thing that makes me doubt the rumor though, is that this has as much detail as the Feb 20th Sony conference, quite a bit for a leak.
It's going to be always online for single player content too, I have reliable sources. Used game thing is bull though, neither 720 or PS4 will force it.
