What are the most annoying arguments here on SW?

Console exclusives. And the Wii has no games argument.

-"HD doesn't look that much better than SD."

-"That game that sold 3 million copies, has a 90 percent approval at metacritic, and is lots of fun, is a flop because Gamespot gave it an 8.5."

-"Who cares if that gamesnot exlusive anymore. I played in 8 months ago."

-"It's a download game so it doesn't count."

-Defending companies that charge more for something the other companies sell for less. Xbox owners shouldn't be ok paying foronline multiplayerwhen it's free for every other platform. Xbox owners shouldn't defend the hard drive or wireless adapter either.

-"Your system has no games." (ignoring multiplats)

-Sony fanboys were defending some silly stuff like the sixaxis not having rumble a few years ago.

Really it doesnt take an expensive comp to run %98.

Not to mention a lot of people, like me,probably picked PS over Xbox BECAUSE they have a gaming rig.

I think he means comparing Uncharted 2 to Xbox 360 games. We don't know if it can be done on the 360, because it was never done.

Competing for console graphics king, though annoying, is a fair basis for comparison imo.

Just brouse a page or 2 and look at the locked threads...Read them real good..Those are the topics that get on my nerves. I really think SW is a bad idea and its full of no win arguments that go nowhere ,get locked, and cause problems..jm2c

* library comparisons that are only year-by-year
* wow, this console outsold the rest... by ONE MONTH! Victory is assured!
* is overrated, and I am so cool for knowing better than all of you
* sales = quality
* the review score was paid for

Off the top of my head:

• *Console* has no games
• Good/popular games being called overrated
• Teh Cell
• Achievements > Trophies and vice versa
• Graphics comparisons that end up with Crysis pics

• If a PS3 game scores high, this is Cowspot, if a 360 game scores high, this is Lemspot
• ODST doesn't count because it's an expansion pack
• Nitpicking a game review without playing the game. (Check the stickied Forza thread.)

anytime the words "confirmed" or "proven" or "fail" are used here. That is NEVER the case.:P

also any time a fanboy for one system tries to say that someone elses system is not as good as his.

Lemmings did the same thing to damage control MLB09 when it got AAA, so don't act like it's just 360/PC multiplats that these arguements are used against.

You're missing the whole point of this arguement anyways. The fact of the matter is that you don't need a 360 to play those games. Plain and simple. 99% of the time they're way better on the PC anyways. You can say PS3 owners don't always own gaming ready PC's if you want, but it doesn't matter because almost everyone that can afford to buy a PS3 probably has a PC too... and if they want to play a certain game not on the PS3 enough to make some upgrades on their PC to play it, that's up to them... but when it comes down to it, they will NEVER have to buy a 360 if they want to play those games. That's why there's no ownage to be claimed.

-The reviewer is biased.
-The reviewer was payed off by *insert company here*
-______ console is maxed out. All further games will be considered inferior.
-But it scored ___ on Gamerankings.
-But it scored ___ on Metacritics.
-Sales don't matter (when something sells poorly)

The overuse of IMO. People use it as a way to say something outrageous without backing it up. I know in real life I don't follow everything with "In my opinion," I try to persuade people to my side of the argument. If it seems like we can't come to any sort of an agreement, then I might just say that we have a difference of opinions, but not without trying to convince them first.

This is in regards to the discussion that a game is somehow a "console exclusive" if it is released only on the PC and 360. A nonsensical term whos meaning is deformed to confirm to the point of view that it is some kind of ownage derived from exclusivity.

While he specifically concedes that such a title is not a "360 exclusive" he is continuing in that same vain of argument: that there is some kind of 3rd kingdom of exclusivity that can be used as ownage.

Other games sales being compared to Halo, when people use the 54% failure rate figure, the old "Cows need PS3 and PC to compete against 360" chestnut, the "Year of x console (mostly PS3)" line, whenever a few crazy cows/lemmings say something stupid the entire cow/lemming group then gets accused of saying it, X console fanboys are worse than Y console fanboys, etc. These are all horribly, horribly stupid.
