What are the most annoying arguments here on SW?

This is in regards to the discussion that a game is somehow a "console exclusive" if it is released only on the PC and 360. A nonsensical term whos meaning is deformed to confirm to the point of view that it is some kind of ownage derived from exclusivity.

While he specifically concedes that such a title is not a "360 exclusive" he is continuing in that same vain of argument: that there is some kind of 3rd kingdom of exclusivity that can be used as ownage.

mine is "console exclusives dont count" yes they do, Ill fuly admit that a game can be console exclusive, I count final fantasy 14 to be as exclsive to the PS3 as Left 4 Dead is to the 360.

This is not exactly an argument, but I've always been particularly annoyed by people who call anybody who doesn't like their favorite game a "hater."

The one that I see the most frequently and irritates me the most:

My opinion = Universal Fact

So very frustrating and pointless

People who thinks graphics are somehow objective are also annoying.

"Sales = quality"

"Metal Gear Solid 4 is a movie"

"____ will be better than ____ because ____ is an AAA franchise"

"If GRAW is exclusive, MLB 09 should also be exclusive" - While I agree, thedebates accomplish nothing.

I once made a thread suggesting a new rule, that stating your opinion as "fact" should be a moddable offense (suspension, point loss, or both). And of course people lashed out at me saying I was anti-opinion :lol:

Tell me, which word did he redefine and where. His "point of view" is that PS3 can't play a 360/PC game. That seems more like a fact than a "point of view." Do you dispute this? I'll be waiting.dsmccracken

I would seriously stand behind that if it were a new rule 100%. The amount of propaganda present on SW (which actually manages to warp people's perceptions on matters btw) is almost intolerable.

Ill answer this one and say, not really Haze still makes me weep. That was the reason I was going to buy a PS3 back when it came out. I was in deep states of shock when I saw the rwview scores :cry:

Yep, they definately count in library comparisons. Just obviously not in exclusive comparisons (such as the console exclusive that a couple posters tried to use). Anybody who doesn't see them as an advantage is just outright ignorant.
