What are your top three contenders for Game of the Year so far?

Not released yet, but I think it's a pretty good bet that GTA V is going to be great.

You know you've made a good game when even lemrats claim it's a GOTY contender.

Fantastic visuals with a great art style, world map with airship,  recruit monsters to party, good story, good music, polished, lots of content, etc etc.

The battle system was the only real weakness of the game, its a top 5 JRPG this gen for me.

I've only played like two games from 2013 so yeah... Bioshock Infinite I guess?

I'm currently playing through The Swapper and it's really really f*cking cool but just a tad too puzzle centric for my taste. Wish there was more to it.

Grand Theft Auto V (ya I'm from da future)

I've played like 3 games for 2013 so far, and on of them doesn't really count since it techincally released before 2013 in Japan (Pandora's Tower), and since I didn't find Castlevania: mirrors of fate to be a particularily great game (not a bad one though), Fire Emblem: Awakening wins pretty easily.

Eventhough I haven't played it yet....Oh my fvcking god, The SLAY OF Us.

Its going to slayyy my shaved balls off when I play it.

But with GTA5, Watch Dogs, and Batman: Arkham Origins still to come I have a feeling that list will change. Plus I have always been a fan of the Splinter Cell franchise so I hope Splinter Cell: Blacklist will turn out to be good.

Bioshock Infinite and The Last of US for me, with maybe The Last of Us on first place.

However The Walking Dead Season 2 will be out this year, so who knows.
