What are your top three contenders for Game of the Year so far?

This is a good one.
It's good that there's quite a lot of campaign going on about this issue. It might be necessary in the past (for controlling/parenting/pollitics or whatever). But in this day and age, the place where people are born and live should not get in the way of them playing whatever games they wanna play.
