[QUOTE="RR360DD"][QUOTE="MortalDecayX"] Ok, so you like paying money to chat. Fair enough. That is your opinion. However, we are talking about what you get for the money you pay. Multiple free games are more valuable than one small feature that, arguably, should not have to be paid for. There is, in fact, more value in PS+ versus XBL Gold. Lems love to say that the price for Gold is nothing to them, in defense of being nickle and dimed to death by Microsoft. But that's how it starts. They charge a little money for things, people buy into it, then MS will see how far they can go, and fanboys will just eat it all up. Right now it's $60 a month just for chat. What next? I refuse to send MS the message that it's ok to charge for silly crap like chat.MortalDecayX
The concept of PSN+ baffles me. You already get oniine play for free. So basically you're paying a subscription to get game discounts (which XBL gets as well) and the ability to play games that Sony chooses for you as long as you keep paying?
Theres no value in PSN+ for me because Ive been keeping track of the 'free' games (I use that term loosely, the games aren't actually free) Sony picks and chooses and Ive yet to come across a game that I haven't already played but am interested in.
So in my situation, theres no value in PSN+. But I'm not going to sit here and say its a ripoff.
You can't call PS+ a rip off because it's not. XBL Gold is because you're paying MS for the ability to play a part of the game that you already paid for (that is free on the PS3), plus chat. The point is, since you haven't got it yet, what you get on PS+ is more than what you get on XBL Gold.Uh no. You can't seem to grasp the fact that you calling XBLGold a rip off is just your opinion.
And again, no. You did not pay for the ability to use XBL servers when you buy a game. Free online is NOT a right. You aren't owed free online. However its cool that Sony foot the bill.
And the point is, if I paid for PSN+, I wouldn't get more than what I get on XBL Gold because I already have all the games its been offering. PSN+ offers me nothing. Seriously, its not that hard to understand.
