What does one full year ($50) of PlayStation Plus look like? Xbox Live Am Cry.

Would i rather have the option of paying $50 a year to gain instant access to tons of games, discounts, game trials and avatars or pay $60 a year to access the multiplayer in a game i just paid $60 for? Such a difficult decision.

The concept of PSN+ baffles me. You already get oniine play for free. So basically you're paying a subscription to get game discounts (which XBL gets as well) and the ability to play games that Sony chooses for you as long as you keep paying?

Theres no value in PSN+ for me because Ive been keeping track of the 'free' games (I use that term loosely, the games aren't actually free) Sony picks and chooses and Ive yet to come across a game that I haven't already played but am interested in.

So in my situation, theres no value in PSN+. But I'm not going to sit here and say its a ripoff.

And again, no. You did not pay for the ability to use XBL servers when you buy a game. Free online is NOT a right. You aren't owed free online. However its cool that Sony foot the bill.

And the point is, if I paid for PSN+, I wouldn't get more than what I get on XBL Gold because I already have all the games its been offering. PSN+ offers me nothing. Seriously, its not that hard to understand.

PSN+ is like paying one rental price to stay in multiple different houses thought out the year

on the other hand...

XBL is like BUYING a house or multiple houses and having to pay a yearly rental price just in order to stay in any of them.

PSN is a comparable service to XBLG because PSN provides a list of features, and services that is similar to what XBLG does.

PS+ is an additional game rental service on top of PSN.

When people ask me which console was the best last gen, should I only count games toward the end of the gen? No. So thats why I say the 360 is the better console: Because its provided the most games throughout the generation, not to mention a solid online the entire gen too. Compare that to the PS3 that only got good one half of the gen in terms of games and online, and you can see my reasoning.

Right now (2013), I'll hapily admit that for games the PS3 is better. But thats not gonna effect my decision, why should it when the PS4 and Next Xbox are coming out :lol:
