Art direction goes a long way in making graphics perceivably better or worse. And as for Doom, personally it looks like everything was molded out of plastic.
UC 4 more than likely uses higher quality assets in the cutscenes, they're real-time though and Witcher 3 just doesn't reach that level of quality no matter how many screenshots you take,
Edit:Should be talking 'bout the animation more than the assets... I don't even think it's realistically possible to do that on an open world game, UC4 did a lot of mocap for their videos including facial mocap. TW3 is huge, all those conversations and videos, it would take forever :P

Yeah, The Witcher 3 has 10x the content that UC4 has.
Overall I'd say games like SW: Battlefront, TW3, AC: Unity are the most impressive. UC4 still looks great though, especially considering the weak hardware in the ps4.
@GhostHawk196: PC games with mods don't really count. Uncharted 4 and other console are from the raw developers without mods. We should be judging games based on their purest and best form.

I like to judge the games based on how I play them as that's quite what matters in the end? But well these threads are quite pointless anyway as most are just speaking of games they dont even own or have ever played, speaking of pc games while not owning a PC to even run them, bullshot galore nothing else.
I guess actual gameplay screenshots are too much to ask.
Don't get me wrong. The photomode thing is a great idea, but it's obviously being abused in threads like this. Why we're not seeing a lot of gameplay screenshots and just filtered screenshots.

The game can actually be played with those mods applied. Unlike photomode filters. They count since mods is one of PC's main features.
Dollar for dollar (on operating sysytem) it's uncharted 4, but a console simply can't compete with a PC game, when the PC capabilities are limitless for mods + resolution + refresh rate. 60 FPS at 1080p can't compete with 140 FPS at 1440p or 60 FPS at 2160p
Herms seem to forget (although lems and sheep agree, strangly) that UC4 is the console graphics king right now and if it were out of PC, it would destroy anything cryshite or Electronic Arseholes could come up with.
Just imagine that ND engine running on a high end machine. Forget what we actually have... the software behind UC4 is far superior to anything PC has, its just a shamed its so gimped by the PS4

You might be right, except it's such a closed game compared to the open world beauties we have. Also, they'd have to fix those awful LOD textures.
I really dont see what people see on uncharted4 sure it looks good in motion do to gameplay being adveture type but looking at it just look no better then most games
