@thepclovingguy:
You need to see it in motion. It's pretty incredible.
Also lol@calling me ps4 fanboy as I've been calling it the worst console ever to grace the industry, shortly after it released.

Uncharted 4. Holy cow. And by far, sorry pc fanboys.
On a technical level, no. On a subjective level, sure, you can say that.
@DragonfireXZ95:
Yes, specifically on a technical level. Lighting, animation, models, etc--its a step up.
@DragonfireXZ95:
Play the game. The amount of animation and physics is pretty crazy. There are textures here and there if you pick and choose, but there's simply no other game which offers such full scene detail from a players perspective while they are playing the game.
@panda30:
Find some way to play it for a bit. Everything is so animated. And all these objects are treated with so much detail it brings the game world to life. The lighting is incredible.
I will bite.
The first image: Both Character models look fantastic. Also the high detail carries over in the background.
The Second Image: Character model looks good. Now look in the background. Fog and low resolution detail almost the entire background. T

yet this takes place rigth after that in gameplay
most of thos uncharted 4 are bullshots
Yeah you can see exactly what photomode filters he was using, lmao.
My GOD you dudes just need to acceot it already lol UC4 is the current graphics king!
LMAOL your funny your opinion is not a fact and I am yet to see anithing better then Ryse and you also shood stop acting as if "we need to acept your mentality " whit 0 proves other then bull shots and pictures 50 mills away
@panda30: That is the best possible compliment you could give. Those are all actual screenshots. Yes Virginia, Uncharted 4 really looks that amazing.
dint know you can play the game whit no character
any game look good that way do to being far away from real detail even watchdogs can look realistic from far
Just like a bunch of screenshots all taken with filters in a photomode. There are plenty of crappy UC4 images in this thread, just look through it.
The game looks good, no doubt about that. But some of these fanboys claiming better technical graphics than the best of open world PC games that require a serious amount of power is just ridiculous...
Going to say the newest Battlefront and Doom... They not only look tremendous but unlike many of the games mentioned here, they are incredibly well optemized with rarely ever a dip in fps even at their most intense moments.. At least for pc.
Keeping a stable 60 plus fps to me is just as important as visual graphics.

Isn't a doom a corridor shooter?
Uncharted 4 is the best looking game to date on any platform. I think pretty much everyone would agree with this.
If you have not seen the video of the stones rolling down the hill after being shot then I would strongly recommend you track it down and prepare to have your mind BLOWN!
Are you just dumb? Quoting a completely different picture to the ones I posted and expect to prove any point lol? Just go and capture the gameplay shot of the exact same spot and you'll see there's no difference except for the filter, which mind you can be activated all the time during gameplay.
UC4 truly looks that great and you should get use to it. There's no point cherry pick bad angled shots, it's like picking on ScarJo's mole and call her ugly. You are really pathetic.

It's worth noting that not everything in Uncharted 4's environments are this malleable. The rocks are part of a surface Drake slides down, so special attention has been given to making them more dynamic than other parts of the scenery. Still, those are some damn fine physics!
DF
And no it's not, it's one of the best ones.
Anyone who claims such a thing, obviously hasn't played PC games on Ultra , like Battlefront, TW3, etc
I hardly find PC graphics an achievement anymore since the limit to visual fidelity is with a competent developer limited only by the hardware of those running it. Whereas I find console graphics much more fascinating since developers are running on less powerful fixed hardware and the real talent is how to optimize the game and squeeze every bit of performance out of the things.
There's also more to graphics than just attempting photorealism with high polygon models, optical effects, high res textures, etc, there's also art direction and style.
The Hermits here seem bewildered. "How can a $300 console game be shitting on my overpriced nerdrig?" The answer is that developer talent and budget is more important than your menial hardware advantage. If that wasn't true than Hermits wouldn't be posting only conole ports in this thread.
Uncharted 4 looks that good because it's made by one of the best developers in the world, optimized for the most powerful console in the world, with the full resources of one of the largest media and electronics companies in the world.
@gpuking: What's with the indoor shots? It's easy to make 2 rooms look good when you don't have to render anything else. You aren't even playing as Drake there.
Also, that ship looks like crap, and it looks like a filter has still been applied to it. In fact, they all look like they have filters applied to them and photomode after looking at the shots below.
This one has a HUD, so it is for sure direct feed. And here are multiple actual gameplay screenshots without a filter mode applied.
