Go with PS4.
1. Better exclusives. You get Bloodborne, TO-1886, KZSF, Infamous SS, SFV's incoming, Uncharted 4 next year, TLOU remastered, GOW3 remastered, Ratchet and Clank next year, Horizon, Until Dawn, GGXRD.
2. Better value for PSN.
3. Better controller.
4. Faster UI.
5. 1080P gaming generally at 60fps.
6. Better graphics and overall a much more capable console.
7. PSNOW.
8. More third party and Indies.
The Xbox One is just okay in my honest opinion, but it's exclusives are lackluster, controller is a step down from 360's, UI is slow and buggy, backwards compatibility is bad (you're better off playing on the 360) and most of it's exclusives will be on PC or PS4 as they're timed.
There are so many inaccuracies and bloated points in this post....
1. Better exclusives? There's Bloodborne and then there's the possibility of Infamous which was an okay game, the rest is just generic mediocrity, a multi-platform game also on PC (SFV), remasters of games that are not even old, and a bunch of stuff coming 9+ months from now. The Xbox One doesn't have a Bloodborne yet, however it has more big titles coming and much sooner. Rare replay comes out in a week, Gear of War: Ultimate Edition comes out in less than a month, Forza 6 comes out in a little over five weeks, then Halo 5 in three months, Rise of the Tomb Raider following that and also Fable Legends with a release somewhere in between all of that... Not to mention Quantum Break, Crackdown 3 and Scalebound in 2016, plus the possibility of Phantom Dust whenever development for that picks back up...
2. Based upon what?
3. Based upon what?
4. Based upon what? Also the PlayStation 4 UI has not been updated in any capacity even though it's one of the most requested things. The Xbox One is getting Windows 10 in the next few months which will come with a completely new and updated UI.
5. Mostly 1080p gaming generally at 30 FPS, quit exaggerating.
6. The graphics output capabilities of these consoles is identical, the resolution however may be different. The PlayStation 4 is more powerful but the difference between how games can actually look goes as far the number of pixels displayed.
7. Is a game rental streaming service that requires a maintained internet connection to play these games, you also never retain ownership of any of these games, you stop paying and they go away.
8. This is true for the time being, however eventually it's likely to not matter as both libraries will hit a point of total saturation.
A lot of this is just bloated, inaccurate and opinion, its exclusives are lackluster to you, the controller is inferior and step down to you, the UI is not slow and there's rarely any bugs with it. The backwards compatibility is not even publicly launched, its been in beta for preview members only which I highly doubt you are, also it's not bad, it works quite well considering how it functions, it's also free and it's a work in progress.
Most of the exclusives will be on PC or PS4? Based upon what? Oh yeah, you making that up right now... They're timed? Literally one game is a timed exclusive, one fucking game... Jesus Christ dude, you really are up Sony's ass...
