What is so special graphically about Crysis 2 (On consoles) and Rage?

Rage is on a bigger scale and runs at twice the frame-rate of Killzone 2 and 3, and it looks just as good if not better than Killzone 2 and 3. Although I haven't played either KZ3 or Rage in person I have watched HD gameplay captures from both and IMO Rage looks far more impressive to me. Mega-textures FTW.

Crysis 2 has all of the features you claim are so important like Dynamic lighting, etc... and also has a larger and more open world than KZ2 and presumably KZ3. If you think the texture's in Crysis are much worse than KZ2, then you're mistaken. KZ2 isn't known to have the greatest texture's in the world, and for the last time KZ2 has pre-baked lighting too, every game does!!![Except for Crysis I believe].

While I think both Crysis 2 and Rage look great, neither of those games match Uncharted 2 in graphics fedelity--maybe KZ2 tho.

1. Screen shots mean nothing. Games always look different in motion.

2. None of these games are finshed and out yet.

3. Until you've played these games on your display you're opinion on which looks best isn't completely valid.

Side not as far as the tech being used for said games Crysis 2 wins hands down.

Do I need to even point out the fact that most hermits are disgusted with how their beloved Crysis has become more "consolised". Cows and Lems couldn't be more happy for Crysis 2 but Hermits are swearing it off as a piece of crap, and I really can't blame them. Keep that in mind while you praise Crysis 2 for it's "greatness", that it's the pathetic bastard child of a once proud brand.
