Because you've played both? Are you purposely trolling, because someone can't be this ignorant. :|

Nope, it's not like any of Cryteks games have had fantastic gameplay that compliment the graphics. :P

Gamespot : 9.5/10 Average Score : 9.0/10 Your opinion seems to be an outlier.Personally I'm very impressed with the way Rage is turning out. It looks like a high end PC title (with a few sacrifices here and there). Crysis 2 looks pretty good as well but I'm not overly impressed with it at this stage. The textures look a little low res and the enemies seem entirely too scripted. But hey, that's just my opinion.

2. The A.I. at it's best hasn't been shown yet since it was demoed on easy.
3. The game's not done yet.

Crysis 2 particles look so bad compared to KZ2 with the sparks having no physics.
And face it Crysis 2 is a KZ poser using deferred lighting and lens flares everywhere.

Bouncing sparks are the most unrealistic physics ever. SPARKS DO NOT BOUNCE, THEY DISSIPATE. I know Killzone is so insecure that it has to overexaggerate everything just to seem 8).
KZ3 will become console graphics king, Currently it's either, KZ2, UC2 or GoW III. Nice try though.ROFL sony fanboys..........just accept that console graphic king is multiplat

but rage really doesn't impress me. it looks very good for an open world game but not spectacular really.
KZ3 on the other hand seems to be shaping up as the new console graphical benchmark just as KZ2 was before it :)

But it doesnt do it and the effect has been proven to be the best.It is an overly distracting visual flair that is neither necessary nor realistic... They only reason they did it was so they could have something to show off in demos as "hey look what we can do."
All it does is add more useless effects to the screen that make it even more difficult to tell what is going on.. Honestly, I think Crysis 2 already has enough crazy particle effects going on that fill up the screen and distract from the gameplay...

good thing it isn't the same every time in Crysis 2 because it is either affected by physics, having collisions and dissipating or they have a TON of different spark effects, at which point there really isn't any noticable difference..... The spark effects almost always look different based on directionality and surroundings..
