My favorite ever is Knights of the old republic 1. And I've never even heard of the game that #1 right now?

No mention of Panzer Dragoon Saga? I suppose that's understandable considering the platform and limited release, but regardless it's by far one of the best, most unique RPGs ever made and deserves a spot on the list.

Hm, I'm playing through that at the moment actually - I don't really get the whole "best RPG ever" praise it was getting, though. Sure, it has an emotional story at times, but...eh, it doesn't seem to do much we haven't seen before (aside from showing memories as little side-stories).

Definitely Planescape: Torment. Final Fantasy 6 and Chronotrigger were amazing games too, as well as Baldurs Gate 1 / 2. The PC during the 90s featured a wealth of amazing isometric RPGs. :)
