What is the next game likeliest to get a 10 on Gamespot?

In the Vidocs, the designers talk quite in detail about your Spartan squad member's AI. Apparently two AI engineers spent the entirety of the Halo 5 development cycle (3 years) working on getting it right. They want it to be helpful, intuitive and believable, but at the same point don't want it to be TOO effective in that your squad mates take out all the enemy forces by themselves. The player is still supposed to be the main badass.

Wait for the next boring politically correct walking simulator to come out.

Zelda or Uncharted probably. I'm hoping Zelda really knocks it out of the park. Uncharted? Meh. I'm sure it'll be good and score very well though.

Fallout 4 and Persona 5. The SMT games in general get great reviews here, and with the hype P5 has, it has a good chance getting a 10. Fallout 4 is pretty self-explanatory, but I also have my doubts. After MGSV, reviewers might expect a bug-free open-world game.

This is obviously Fallout 4 if not that I guess Dark Souls 3, I think it's difficult for an exclusive game to get a perfect 10 for obvious reasons, which is why I guess you didn't list halo, despite being a big game, it's lkely not going to get 10 out of 10 for the sole reason of not being released on ps4 and its huge installbase, on the other hand you did list Uncharted 4 but I can't give the nod to that either, you might think the xbox install base isnt significant, but I think it still is to the point a game like this would't get 10 out of 10, regardless of how good it turnst out to be.

Scalebound? That's too far away, some other game will surely get 10 before that, so Im thinking either fallout or dark souls.

The fanboy in me wants to immediately vote for Persona and be done with it, but that isn't the kind of game to get a perfect score on this site. Nothing wrong with that of course, different strokes for different folks after all.

I could definitely see them giving Fallout 4 a 10 even though it'll be riddled with bugs. Dark Souls 3 could too but without Kevin here to review it its less as likely.

Only one other person mentioned Forza 6. It has the perfect storm to reach a 10/10.
1) It'll be bug free.
2) Best all time in its genre.

Halo not having a chance is ridiculous. I don't really like Halo overall, just Reach and the H2 remaster, but to state that any game is ineligible due to genre/franchise history is why gaming journalism is so broken. It reminds me of how bad the choices for movie awards tend to be.

Forza 6....if Forza 5 got a 9 and Forza 6 improves on it in every way, then it only makes sense. But this site doesn't make sense anymore.

You seem to have completely forgotten the lack of consistency Gamespot holds games to. One game has bugs, it's given a 6 and blasted for the whole review about it, then the next game, with equally as many bugs or problems, wows the reviewer with some sort of great presentation and it gets a 9/10 (see: TESIV: Oblivion).

Only Dark Souls 3 and even that is a long shot.

Now way in hell Fallout 4 is getting a 10. Game will be an 8.5 at beat. No idea why people are so hyped for that damn game...

I don't think any will get a 10; simply because they have given so many 10s recently that they will probably try to avoid more. I think Uncharted 4 and Fallout 4 have the best chances though.

Games stuck in development (hell) for so long tend to end up being lacklustre.

I can only think of one game that's been in development for a very long time (6 years) that turned out amazing and that's Half Life2. But it's far from the norm.

Strangely enough my friend, I am also playing Xenodrifter, an indie game from 2014 (not the 80s, dum dum) that has great gameplay. So it seems that I am capable of playing both indie games and AAA games with great gameplay. It seems that it comes down to jealousy on your part. Jealousy that so many System Warriors as myself have superior taste than you, blueincrappedpants. I bet the first level of Super Meat Boy is too hard for you.

Because it's not going to get a 10, it has too many issues bogging it down. We already know about them from its Japanese release.

In my world I think Halo 5 has the potential to score a 10 but on Anti-XboxSpot it will not achieve this, even if it is the greatest game ever made.
