What is up with this Catherine game?

It's like the worst demo I ever "watched"...seriously climbing boxes and watching crappy anime? This game is going to be horrible.

from the demo it seems you will be watching the whole time and not playing and when you do get to play it's climbing blocks...I don't get it

... okay? you don't like it, so all you should have done is delete the demo and move on with your life, also i knew back when i played the japanese demo that this game was going to be a hit "going from ign's review" i mean all us guys can relate to the game in a way. So you didn't like it, cool, delete it and move on friend.

I haven't played it and won't play it unless it keps getting good reviews. I heard about it for months and when I saw gameplay and he was climbing boxes, I was a little perplexed.

I was expecting it to be some sort of JRPG before to be honest,but after I saw the actual gameplay I lost interest. May get it used or when it´s dirt cheap.

When Atlus announces P5 then I´ll be interested. :P

Just because you're not aware of any other genres besides shooters, doesn't mean other genres like puzzle - platformers (such as this game), are bad genres.

I never quite understood the appeal of this game ether TC.

It's a shame you can't appreciate Atlus. Meanwhile, I'll be enjoying it to its fullest. I'll never play the demo, though, it's all about the complete package.

I personally thought the demo was quite dull.
The only thing I like with the game so far is that the main character looks sexy.

I am disappointed that it's a mere puzzle game, too. But the narrative looks interesting. Might be worth a watch on Youtube, or perhaps a rental.

Saw excerts on neogaf of the GI review, sounds like a lot of "this game is too hard, I have filled my room with tears" sort of thing.

The demo looked pretty boring. I hope the game isn't based on solely climbing blocks.

I for one embrace this game for it introduces a welcome breath of fresh air.

No offense TC, but if everyone in the industry thinks along your secluded visions, there would be a major decrease in terms of creativity which would impact the expansion of the gaming population.

(I liked the demo, am I an alien for feeling satisfaction in the process figuring out a puzzle under stress then guiding the story via texts and cutscenes? Different strokes no doubt)

It's got a different feel to it. Personally, I'm looking for something different to play, something out of my "comfort zone", so to speak.

IGN rates their games higher than the medium. But they do get too much unwarranted hate.
