Earthbound it might not be the "best" rpg ever made, but it's my personal favorite. I love it's style, I love it's story, I love the characters, the music. It stands out so much from the bunch. The day I can get my hands on the Mother 3 english patch I'm going to celebrate.
Chrono Trigger, FFVI, Secret Of Mana and Super Mario RPG are also definetly on my top 5 rpg list. Snes was the best RPG console ever in my eyes.
