A Wario platformer as good as Wario Land 4 and a F-zero is all it really needs, or it needs something good enough to substitute for both of those genres.NationProtectorS*** Wario Land Shake It was so good.

The Wii is a pretty underrated console, everyone cares about DA GRAPHECKS!!1!
I'm actually one of the few for whom a new Donkey Kong Country with a new soudtrack by legendary David Wise would be sufficient. Needless to say, I already have a Wii U.Meinhard1People on SW don't know the magic of having ex-Rare members working on a new Donkey Kong game, its just a magical feeling and Retro is an amazing studio.
Looks like they already have a great deal of games I want, I just can't justify spending that much money on it. Personally waiting until around 200-250$ and I know it'll likely be a long one.
Pikmin 3 and a sequel to Retro's god tier Donkey Kong Country Returns.... Oh wait!

How many hours did you put into Pikmin 3?

How many hours did you put into Pikmin 3?
Over 30 hours of Pikmin 3 (I'm competative and am nowhere near done playing this game because of speed runs and challenge mode)
Over 100 hours of Donkey Kong Country Returns (still haven't beaten everything. I'm at 192% completion and hope the sequel lives up to the first)
Ganon's Quest for Tri-Force, Wario's Bad Fart Day, Cranky Kong's Old Arcade Times, Super Punch-Out!! Turbo versus F-Zero Universe, Metroid Hunters Ultimate, Star Fox Wars, Sonic & Mario in Alternate Universe World, Luigi's House of Horrors, Nintendo's Extreme Sports U,..

A new Metroid would pique my interest immensely. MirkoS77Might as well avoid considering Wii U altogether then.

metroid will be here this gen.
After what happened with Other M and how Nintendo avoided celebrating it's 25th anniversary altogether (jumping straight to Kirby's 20th), I doubt it. I think it's taking another haitus avoiding another console. Remember the Nintendo 64 and how that avoided Metroid (like Wii avoiding F-Zero and Star Fox)?Might as well avoid considering Wii U altogether then. Again, you have no proof for this assertion.[QUOTE="MirkoS77"]A new Metroid would pique my interest immensely. nintendoboy16

Since Prime and Fusion, Metroid game releases take only two to three years apart from each other. It's been nearly three years since Other M and what has Nintendo announced so far? Far as I can see, re-releases to 3DS and Wii U eShops, Smash Bros 4 appearance and cameos in Tekken and Nintendo Land. That, and teasing talks from Nintendo officials (which they did the same thing for Star Fox and F-Zero).[QUOTE="MirkoS77"]A new Metroid would pique my interest immensely. charizard1605
Hell, why wasn't Metroid's 25th anniversary celebrated and Kirby's 20th was?

Well, I'll put it in perspective: a single Mario Kart game sells more than the entire Metroid series put together. Nintendo knows Metroid doesn't sell well. But at the same time, it needs Metroid around, because it exists to diversify its portfolio, and it fills a void in its forst party lineup that no other game fills. Its anniversary being ignored is indicative of nothing in the end. After what happened with Other M and how Nintendo avoided celebrating it's 25th anniversary altogether (jumping straight to Kirby's 20th), I doubt it. I don't know, Char. Ninty has some pretty suspicious behavior around it. The fact that a generally lower selling series (Kirby) got it's anniversary and the generally higher (by a bit) selling series, save for that one game (Metroid) didn't is telling of something. And it will most likely miss the Wii U.[QUOTE="nintendoboy16"]

You forget that the popularity and profitability of the series is also a factor, which is what happened when F-Zero and Star Fox avoided the Wii.Well, I'll put it in perspective: a single Mario Kart game sells more than the entire Metroid series put together.[QUOTE="charizard1605"][QUOTE="nintendoboy16"]C'mon char. But Kirby isn't lower selling at all. Kirby has sold in excess of 30 million units. Metroid hasn't touched 17 million, to put that into perspective. Please Log In to post.
