I know this is for me, but wow, calling me Nation Protector, what is Glitchspot thinking?

The 3rd Party support is probably weak because 3rd parties don't want to waste money porting 1 game on 4 different machines, Splinter Cell got cut content purely because of budget and time.

Next Gen specs = I'm a graphics whore.

The WiiU has the most normal control scheme that you could get, it just has a screen in the middle, Just think of it this way, at least 90% of WiiU games do not require a Wiimote or a Nunchuck.

and the fact you added solid online tells me you never played a WiiU.

OK, so I assume you are perfectly fine with these long, repeated software droughts again and again?  And lacking 3rd party support?  And subpar online features?  And Nintendo's overly conservative approach to everything they do?  Yea, Heaven forbid Nintendo gets off their ass and actually implements changes to improve in these areas.  We can't have them actually compete with two other companies who steamroll them in these areas, can we?  Then Nintendo wouldn't be Nintendo.

C'mon man.  Nobody wants Nintendo to be a clone of the other two in terms of their software and offerings or what they do best.  They want Nintendo to be Nintendo, but they want them to get their goddamn act together and remedy many problems that have been plauging their consoles for generations now.  Honestly, how long does it take, and why can't they learn from their past mistakes and make changes, at least with their consoles?  People are fed up, many are bitter, and they have a right to be.
