[QUOTE="Dencore"][QUOTE="Panzer_Zwei"] In that Clover games were good? Capcom makes more variety of games that end up great.
Do you know the amount of games Konami used make before to what they're makng now? It's a world of difference.

Konami literally was God. Contra 3, Snatcher, Metal Gear 2, TMNT IV, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Gradius III, Castlevania IV, etc. *Sigh* That list is depressing, reminds me of how awesome gaming use to be. :( And that's just from me playing the SNES and MSX, I could imainge how many awesome games they had for SEGA consoles *well besides Snatcher*
Konami still makes fine games, just they are on handhelds. Capcom makes a lot of crap as well, MegaMan has not been all that great for a while aside from ZX which was decent, but not great. The last true MegaMan game I played that I liked was Battle Network 3, and MegaManZero 1was also pretty good, otherwise they seem to have milked all they can out of handheld games in the franchise. If anything,I would like to see a sidescroller similar to Network Transmission which was such a hard game, just with better controls similar to the handheld Zero and ZX games for the DS. I personally enjoyed the Castlevania DS games though, they were loads of fun and had cool stories.
Like? what new great IPs have they made lately?Capcom keeps bringing out more and more different franchises like Phoenix Wrigh for example that keeps them adding more adepts, Konami from the 16/32-bit to 128-bit change they lost most of it's usual series. They like Capcom kept MegaMan, they've kept Castlevania, only they aren't brining out more franchises that you'd say are amazing, like they used to.
And Castlevania is quite far from what it was on consoles, it was their principal flagship franchise, now it has been relegated to a yearly handheld releases, how did it got to this? it has nowhere near the prescense nor the hype the console Castlevanias had until Nocturne in the Moonlight which were regarded as epicly as the MGS franchise is regarded now, and basically that's the only thing that looks that way from Konami nowadays.
Before Konami had lots of sleeper hits and Japanese only releases, disregarded by most mainstream gamers nowadays, now they don't have such thing.
