Why dont they
bu bu bu... teh cloudzzzz!!!! :lol:Not sure why people think the cloud is exclusive to Microsoft.
There's a reason why Sony bough gaikai :P.
When it comes to the cloud, Sony has a massive advantage since they got gaikai's tech.
I kinda wonder how cloud will work now. It was designed with the intention of everyone being online but with the policy change developers can not design that way now. I am glad for the policy change but I wonder how they work the cloud thing now.CanYouDigltthere is nothing stopping a developer from requiring an internet connection for the game to work. MSs turnaround just means its not required for every game. anyway GDDR5 offers more concrete benefits now. the cloud is very much in the "well...possibly....but probably not" territory. besides there is nothing about the PS4 that would stop it from using the same tech. they do have gaikai who know a thing to two about cloud based gaming and tech. the cloud is not an MS patented completly propietry thing (thank god)....its a marketing term for something that has been around for a long long time.
Is it ok to say "none of them"?
Look GDDR5 is the best option for the kind of build the next gen of consoles have. But it is not something that will move the heavens.
Cloud is such a marketing term now, the explained uses of it so far have not exactly been gamechanging and overall minor.
If I could I would say the overall arcehtecture of both those Consoles, as in the flexibility they have. I think that will have a far bigger impact then what ram they use, and what services they have in the backhand.
If I were forced to pick I would likely say the GDDR5 out of the two, but I have little illusion that it will make a big difference in the long run. As the Cloud examples weve been given so far have been translated to "big whoop" in my head.
Its almost entirely based upon implementation.
Both have advantages however the cloud is certainly the most interesting of the two technologies.

176GB/sec.PS4's system bandwidth is 176GB/s compared to XBone's 68.
So, unless your internet is 108 GB/s somehow, then the "powa of da cloud" does not fill a gap there.

Srsly how can anyone believe in something as stupid as the cloud? No Xbone won't be stronger because of it. Lemmings and their ignorance, always believing every little fable. Now to the real world; PS4 hardware > XboneIts almost entirely based upon implementation.

Running is not the same as porting. By your logic, PS3 won't be able to run games like GOW and HALO.[QUOTE="AD216"][QUOTE="faizan_faizan"] Obviously the one who has the weaker hardware. Just like how M$ payed Kojima to spew bullshit in spite of him knowing nothing about programming. faizan_faizan

Not exactly gamechanging? You do realize that cloud computing increases the graphical processing power of the Xbox One four times it's physical specs? Do you know what that would mean for graphical capabilities in games? Is it ok to say "none of them"?

How big was the difference between XBOX and PS2? Massive. What it caused? No amazing games taking advantage of the hardware for the PS2. Games such as: Half Life 2, Far Cry, DOOM 3 and so on.

owned. You guys are not getting what the cloud is supposed to aid in. Again the cloud and memory are two completely different things with completely different uses. The whole concept of this thread is stupid. Comparing the memory of the two systems or the cloud of the two systems makes sense.Obviously the one who has the weaker hardware.
