whats the point in a 360 if i have a PC? (not flamebait)

I have a high end PC and a 360 so what reason do i need for a 360?

Viva pinata - 360 only

Crackdown - 360 only

Tiger woods - better on 360

Saints row - Console only

Dead or alive - 360 only

PGR3 - 360 only

Burnout revenge - Console only

COD3 - Console only, and its unlikey you will see a PC version regardless of what PCgamer says.

Dead rising - 360 only

Ridge racer - console only

GeoW - Will make it to PC no doubt but how long are you willing to wait? By the time the PC version comes out it will be 18 months old.

Apart from crackdown i own all these and you will find only COD3, the only FPS

Is this not reason enough to own a 360?

Gears of war and halo 3 have not been announced for the PC and while halo 3 may come to the pc after several years, gears will likely not.

Besides, there are tons of other high rated games such as Kameo, Viva Pinata, etc.  Upcoming titles like Blue Dragon, Mass Effect, etc. to keep people entertained for hours.

I like PC gaming, but I have a 360 to satisfy my console needs.

I massively disagree.  There currently is no need to even own a ps3 if you have a good gaming PC.  You can even watch movies on your PC which is really the only use for a ps3 right now.

The PSP has been horrible IMO.  Just playing rehashed PS2 games on a portable.  Oh, the excitment.

The 360 has a very extensive gaming library that covers most genres well at this point, and has many more good titles coming to it.  It's the best next gen console to have at this time.

Simple, if you want to play Halo, Gears and Fable without waiting a few years. Plus you don't have to worry about recommended/optimal settings. Plus you can play co-op games with your friends on the same machine.

Reasons enough for me.:|

I haven't seen anything about Halo 3 or Gear of War coming to the PC. Even Halo 2 didn't go to the PC. Games you won't be able to play on PC including Dead Rising, Crackdown, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, all the 2K sports games, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Lost Planet, Guitar Hero II, Winning Eleven 07, Fuzion Frenzy 2, Huxley, Def Jam Icon and lots and lots of other titles.  That's why you need an XBox 360. Plus you don't have to spend 30 mins loading the game just to find out it doesn't play right on your PC. :roll:

I love how the original TC claims that Gears of War is coming to PC...yet he has absolutely no supports for that or Halo 3. Could you stop making half as*ed assumptions please? It's a joke and makes you look desperate.

Gears of War, Too Human, Fable 2, Halo 3, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Lost Planet, Forza 2, Crackdown (looks very good by the demo), Cry on, Infinite Undiscovery, Halo Wars, Dead Rising, Mass Effect (also 360 exclusive, despite what fanboys wish), PGR4, etc. These are all exclusives...and there are more. Go and read for yourself. It's a joke to still be claiming this about the Xbox 360...or even an Xbox product in general. In the first year or so of the original Xbox's life, yes, i'd of agreed with you...but now? Please, you're delusional.

I'm talking about new titles. Oblivion is on XBox360. GTR is coming to XBox 360. How many people are still playing CoH? :lol: Anyways, those are all old games and not that talk of the town anymore.

the 360 gets more games than the PC does. For me though the most important thing is I can RENT games. I never seen a place rent PC games. I use gameznflix.com and I can have two games out at a time and keep them as long as I want no late fees for $13 a month. I am able to beat a lot of games this way, and that makes consoles important for me.

FarCry never went on consoles. And Gears of War will go on PC. They've hinted at it. And they will want more money.

And I get that from the amount of money developers spend on consoles especially 360 vs how much they spend on developing for PC. The PC sales are much lower than the consoles. Although I guess PC does get more games lots of those games obviously did not cost as much to make as the money spent on consoles. I could be wrong but this is what I recall seeing when I read the news on how much money is spent in each genre.

If you are a renter like me, consoles are the better choice. But I like PC gaming as well, like Fear, half life 2, vampire the masquerade...

Really you think PC games over all make more money than 360? What about more money than consoles in general? I am most certian consoles combined make more than PC games. But I think you are correct about PC having more games, i just checked the blockbuster game list for the past 12 months for PC and 360, and only looked at non multiplat games, and no doubt PC has more. But a lot of those numbers seemed to come from updates. Like Sims 2, Sims 2 pets, Sims 2 University ... Even disregarding that it appears PC produces more games.

And either way i cannot rent them, and being a renter not much of an owner, consoles is where it's at. Also there are genres I like that are hard to find on PC like fighting games.

For someone who really likes fighting games like Jeff Gersman, consoles are the way to go.

So reasons to get a 360 if you own a good PC. Fighting games, and www.gameznflix.com game rentals
