of course, but on 360 there are couple times less games and even there the game is either big seller or flops hard like hell, there's little middle in between. PCgaming makes more money than 360 one, much more, the money is just spread between more titles plus of course a PCgame that sells 300K is often quite a big success and allows developer to surive couple years, on 360 300K game can only result in developer going out of business

If money is no issue, built a monster pc. Keep in mind that many of the best PC games will be ported to the 360 also. PC's are more expensive and have more headaches but can be as strong as the money you put in them. Both have advantages and disadvantages.

Of course you can, so could I, but you're talking about a platform that has existed and continues to exist for a good deal of time compared to consoles. However, how I might say, per capita, PC games have far fewer high selling games compared to consoles. 40 - 60 games do not scratch the amount of games released in a year for the PC, by far, where as 40 - 60 games is a lot for many consoles.

Gears is a MGS game and Epic confirmed its staying on 360 . The last game made my Crytek ended up on a M$ and Nintendo console game.set.and match

not it was the crappy ubi port not made by crytek and epic would like to bring gears to pc they have said it.

I don't know about Gears, but Bioware will port Mass Effect over eventually. Probably after they've finished porting their other 'Xbox exclusive' title, Jade Empire.

Jade empire came out on 2005, and now it hasn't even come out on the PC yet. I fail to see the "ownage" Do PC gamers have to wait 2-3 years to get old Xbox exclusives?

and xbox owners got the GREAT quake 4 port full of frame rate issues and many other poblems while the pc version ran great :lol:

no...not really..the only reason why you see current multiplatforms being better on 360 is because they are designed for 360 first and then ported to ps3. when a game will be designed for ps3 first and then ported to 360 then PS3 version will be better. example: Virtua tennis 3, ps3 version is much better than 360 one. the same will happen with virtua fighter 5 and sega rally 3

that's not entirely true. The cell may not be made for gaming, but once they tap into it's power games would look very much the same. Also games that are made from sratch on the ps3 will always be better than 360 ports.

I HAVE GT4 and GT3 with a Logitech Force Feedback wheel (that I also use for PC!), and yes GT (and Forza on my Xbox) are arcadey compared to the PC sims listed.

Hell im still playing Richard Burns Rally (and GT2 :P), and thats UNBELEIVABLY realstic.
Nothing topples Live for Speed in realism though...

the 360 gets more games than the PC does. For me though the most important thing is I can RENT games. I never seen a place rent PC games. I use gameznflix.com and I can have two games out at a time and keep them as long as I want no late fees for $13 a month. I am able to beat a lot of games this way, and that makes consoles important for me.

Umm the local Blockbuster (two of em) Rents PC games, and so does the local Game Traders (franchise) store :lol:

Besides PC has digital distribution - no leaving the house for games :D

most of the 360 games are on/coming to the PC (GeOW, Halo 3 etc.)... i have a good gaming PC, so... why buy a 360 instead of a PS3 or Wii?

Good question, if your happy with your pc then i cant give you a reason to get a 360, may as well go for one of the others. ( i am a 360 owner btw, check sig)

I would say for Fable 2, Mistwalker games that PC will never get, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Gears etc

I can't think of anything similar for PS3 for at least teo more years, and Wii gets no rpg's at all

With Vista I'll be able to use games and even the 360 controller ... I'll love my laptop even more now and it'll be portable ... and I'll save the cost of the console =D

You can play the PC on a HDTV just like a console, almost every single pub that you play in has an accompanying ventrillo with much better codecs than xbox live, we have splitscreen multiplayer, there are standardized PCs, and you can use winamp ( Cause it really whips the llama's ***)

PC are great if you have the time, patients and know how to set everything up. 99% of the population wouldn't have a clue though.

The 360 is certinaly not pointless as it has a lot of games that won't come out on the PC at all or for several years.

360 is not worth the money, del with it. with PC you can not only play, but do billion things more, and play only for free and much better online btw. 360 isnt worth at all.

I'm a pc gamer first and foremost. But the 360 is the best gaming console this gen. Go study the overall technology of the consoles. The 360 is an ultra efficient work of art.

Because i see no way to play Halo 3, Gears 1-2, Mass Effect, Turok, Fable 2, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, Cry On, Infinite Undiscovery, Ninja Gadein 2, Resident Evil 5 etc on pc

Nvidia will ship 10-14 million DX10 cards. Vista has released and you need 1 gig of ram to run Vista. If you want to start DX10 gaming then you need Vista. So it looks like soon all Pc gamers will have 1-2 gigs of ram and a DX10 card and dont say "DX10 cards cost 600$" because soon 8600GTX will release and that will be 100-200$ and by the time Crysis releases an 8800 GTX will cost 200-300.

You dont need a 360 if you have a good PC,my 360's been gathering dust since I finshed GeOW.Most mult-plat games are better on PC anyway........mods free online etc.
