There is no post purchase anxiety with PC, my game selection isn't divided by generation, everything I played last gen and everything I play next gen will be accessible on the same platform.

In the meantime console fanboys have to hate everything that isn't their choice, which will all ultimately be pointless because a new system will come out and it will start all over again. Everyone will forget about Xbox 360 and PS3 and start raging over whether the 720 or PS3 is better, taking breaks to make sure PC gamers know their platform is irrelevant :roll:.

i like how you just generalize ALL console gamers as fanboys, as if you have a legitimate opinion on a couple of million people. You don't. Does that mean PC gamers post pictures of Crysis because they're insecure about how much they've spent on their PCs in some desperate way to justify it?

Sometimes that in itself can be enough which is why I still also own consoles, and rent games I'm unsure of on them before I purchase the PC versions.

I can understand that people who aren't tech savvy or interested in computers will prefer the consoles. That's all well and good, and to them I say have fun!

But me, and a large group of people do care enough to take gamming to that extra level. Enough that there is still a rather large markjet for us despite the haters and naysaying children and manchildren of System wars. It don't matter to us that more people are playing on the consoles. More people like 50 Cent then Slayer, and I couldn't care less. I'll take Slayer every single time. I'll take the PC every single time.

If you cared enough, for the same cost of a launch PS3, or less with the parts lying around your house you can have a machine that CRUSHES the consoles. At 720p hooked to your HDTV you might actually spend less in the long run since the games are cheaper.

Plus the PC has more exclusives period.

I love games in general. I have all the current gen consoles and a gaming rig. I'd rather not go without. However, I will NEVER choose a console version over the PC version, and if I had to choose I would easily say goodbye to every single console to keep the PC.

I simply stated facts as to why they are better. If people don't prefer the game for reasons other than this, such as story, gameplay etc, then that is opinion.

I never stated it was "better", I simply said that by going from GS scores, we see the PC has more AAA, AA, and A games than the consoles, thereby falsifying his obviously one sided claim.

pc gaming and console gaming are equal.

There are many things the PC does better than consoles. However, I prefer consoles, because of

1.)The price of PC gaming. It is impossible to build a gaming PC for $200, which is what the Xbox 360 starts at.

2.)The superior social experience console gaming provides.

3.)The peace of mind consoles provide. I know when I buy a console, I will be able to play every game availible for that console for the next 10 years with no problems.

4.)This is more of an opinion, but since I'm not a huge fan of RTS games, each individual console has a better lineup of exclusives than the PC to me.
