When Gran Turismo 5 hits shelves, it's over.

Sorry to break it to you early, but you cannot escape from the A-Bomb that is Gran Turismo 5. It's going to be the "Starcraft 2" for the consoles. People will sell their houses for this game. My advice to people who own the 360 only (The Wii will not get affected as much), it's time to face it. When Gran Turismo 5 comes out, Microsoft will just give up. They are smart people. They know they cannot compete with a game as huge as Gran Turismo 5. Turn 10 is going to shut down the day it comes out and go work for Polyphony Digital. The end is coming, and it starts, next Christmas. :twisted:

GT5 will be great. Not so sure that it'll have the same numbers it did last gen, but whatever. :S

If Grand Theft Auto IV and Halo 3 didn't end the world, I honestly doubt Gran Turismo 5 is capable of understanding what it means to do that.

3 games?? Turn 10 is trying desperatly to catch up, but their efforts are futile. What is one thing that Gran Turismo has that Forza doesn't that gives them an instant win? Can anyone guess?

There are only 3 Halo games. There are 4 main GT titles, and about 8 "demo" titles. I don't really see it being that huge a seller, now that the PS3 is nowhere near the popularity of the PS2.

It will probably be too little too late. Gran Turismo came out with the PS and Gran Turismo 3 came out with the PS2. Gran Turismo 5 is coming near the end of the main life of the PS3. It will still probably sell more than any other racing game... but it will still be behind the times with its outdated formula that seems to permeate the Japanese gaming industry (that is, once you find something that works, you never change it no matter how far other games come).

I personally am looking more forward to Race Pro in January and Forza 3 sometime later in 2009.
