Hmmm I would say MS > Nintendo > Sony, but obviously they are all greedy in their own ways and rightfully so I guess :P.
MS because of the fact they shipped out 360 consoles early (to beat nintendo and sony) knowing that RROD was an issue DiviniuzThat also allowed for the PS3 to come out with something better and it's the same for the NGP.
MS because of the fact they shipped out 360 consoles early (to beat nintendo and sony) knowing that RROD was an issue Diviniuzand ignored their own consumers until September 2007!!!
"will" take? I think it started there. this is one of those threads that exists just so someone can get some kind of illusory moral validation. "I'm a better person because I don't like microsoft" well, thank god for you TC, thank god for you.We all know what direction this thread will take.

They take the cake and I guess it's all Me the topic creator's fault they did it.he should be careful with those ciggs or he'll catch throat cancerTo quote Gordon Gekko,

If i had to pick i'd say Microsoft.
but Nintendo and Sony both are pretty 'greedy' as well.
Nintendo's constant iterations on the DS.
Sony's getting rid of backward compatility but now swelling HD remakes and maybe even one day a PS2 digital library (that was rumored a while back).
M$ charges for online multiplayer
Sony charges for psn icons
Nintendo charges extra for a gamecube w/ a 4 button and d-pad direct tv remote
hmm............tough call, but I'm going to go with M$ and there charging for p2p which has been free for years before the first damn xbox released.
I disagree because MS is so Epic with their greed that a boycot would help them and us and the entire industry. They need to get the memo that the PS3 is affordable now and we arent exactly STUCK with their product. They're all greedy, so what difference does deciding whos the most greedy? You personally don't benefit for sticking up for any of them or singling one out.

They got the idea from Microwart!yes, but you can't make them hear the "argument", and some people choose to only hear what they want to.You can make an argument for all of them.

The correct answer? They are all equally greedy....
because every publicly traded company has a fiduciary duty to their share holders, to be as greedy as humanly possible.
If these companies even give the illusion of doing something for the consumer, its because they think the consumer will be more likely to give them money as a result. MS/Sony/Nintendo dont care about you, just your wallet.
The proper question should be, which company is the worst at pretending they arent greedy?
In which case MS is probably the worst at pretending not to be greedy, while sony and nintendo are the best at fooling fanboys.
Well, which one wants my money the most?
As far as I can tell it's Nintendo for having a console that appeals to me more than the PS3 and 360, so I guess they're the greediest.
[QUOTE="Tony-Baxter"]These thing are all my (TC) FAULT! * Letting their consumers get RROD and paying them to fix it until Q4 2007! *charging you to use your own Netflix account on their console. *auto billing for renewal of xbl gold memberships. *charging for online (they could do what Sony does and charge extra for extra)T-AldousAre you kidding me? Did you forget the pile of hardware junk known as the PS2. MS owned up to their mistake by upping the warranty and reinbursting all those who paid for repairs in the first 3 years. Did Sony do that for the PS2? On the topic on online fees. You think that Sony did for free out of the goodness of their hearts? They did it because they had to. No one would pay $600 for a console and still have to pay for online. Evidence of that is that now that they are doing better they suddenly introduced PSN plus in hopes of getting in on the action. Sony fans are so funny. That being said, they are all equally greedy. Yea true all the companies can be greedy but Microsoft in my opinion can be just ridiculous. My brother went through 6 360s due to RROD and one time he had to tell the people at Microsoft that he was going to purchase a PS3 just to get them to ship him a new 360 they where not willing to do it until then and he was under the warranty. Charging for online play is just wrong to me and if Sony starts making gamers pay to play online I will not be online either. I hope Sony keeps their free online service going. I have played Xbox live and it is a good service probably a little better than the PSN, but for 60 dollars a year it should be.
(Poll) I'd say MS since they're the only ones charging you to use your own Netflix account on their console.Tony-Baxter
All three companies are just companies trying to make money, and all have done things that would be percieved as Greedy...
But I'm not going to chicken out, I will answer instead of trying to run away and avoid answering. I would say, probably M$. I've been with them the longest this generation, and they have some practices that really bother me as a consumer. So, M$ would be my guess as the greediest. Shutting down, downsizing, and selling off 1st party studios in lieu of buying timed exclusive DLC/games just really irks me. That means we consumers supporting them are actually getting less videogames as these new deals are done with games coming out anyways. Obviously, Xbox Live's price, the Live Price Hike, the Xbox Point system, and the way things are run like Netflix are all up there as well.
Nintendo though does have a couple of things that I wish they would fix :
1.) Drop the price only Once this generation for the Wii? Only $50? They can do better than that, ESPECIALLY considering the technology powering the Wii is very, very outdated, and was outdated since day one.
2.) Bring back the Greatest Hits, games that launched with the Wii nearly 5 years ago shouldn't be still $50 full price.
3.) Offer up some Discounts during the holidays for VC and Wiiware games like I see on XBLA and PSN and Steam. Only once all these years was there a small discount on Wii Virtual Console games only for Sega Games, and it wasn't Nintendo, it was Sega doing it.

ahh yes, damn greedy companies repairing someone's console 5 times for free.
Microsoft because of avatar gear.
Back in 2006 I thought it was bad enough that they charged for gamerpics and themes, but after the update that changed the dashboard themes got more expensive, the old ones became worhtless for the most part, and now to customize your avatr you have to pay.
I can't even put a wife beater on my avatar anymore:cry:
all of them? they are all greedy they all want your money any one that doesn't think so is just deluding themselves.
Microsoft totally. They're the only one out of the three that actually make you pay for online service.
all of them? they are all greedy they all want your money any one that doesn't think so is just deluding themselves.

the topic clearly said who is the GREEDIEST? The answer is microsoft. Plain and simple. Even though i voted for nintendo because of their overpriced Hardware. The GREEDIEST! is Microsoft

No microsoft is just the worste at PR. They are all equally greedy, its just a matter of how good they are at convincing you otherwise.
everyone is guilty.
nintendo makes two versions of the same game everytime a new pokeagame comes out and make minute improvements to the gameboy to spur sales.
ms cut costs on the 360 hardware and made crap and sony has done it all from installing rootkits on yourhardware to selling a $100 hardrive for the ps2 that worked with 2 games.
