Which game impressed you most, graphically?

Metroid Prime won me over in a single graphical moment. Landing on Tallon IV for the first time, looking up to the sky and seeing the raindrops falling down on Samus visor sent chills down my spine. That's also when Metroid Prime won me over after doubting it for so long.

Mirror's Edge is probably the only game that has made my jaw drop in terms of how otherwordly good it looks. Compare shots of Mirror's Edge to almost anything else released this generation and the colour difference is night and day.

And of course I will never forget the distinct graphical style of Donkey Kong Country 2 the beehive, theme park and lava levels simply blew my mind as a kid. And they STILL look amazing.

Other games are Yoshi Island, Half-Life 2, Perfect Dark, Red Alert 2, Starcraft, Banjo & Kazooie, Wind Waker, Super Metroid

While I prefer Prime's environments to Prime 2 (as a whole, since 2 is so depressing all the time), Prime 2 did look a bit better and there were areas that were so well done it made you stop and stare. Especially the cyber place.

Perfect Dark 64 would easily be the winner on 64 if it wasnt for its awful framereate in co-op and some multi. The game was ahead of its time in almost every sense.

Gears of war has been the game that graphically impressed me the most.

Recently.Forza 4.It looks clean and beatiful.

Of this gen, BF3.

Artistically, Wind Waker.

For me it was Quake 3 Arena on PC. It looked so sharp and detailed when it came out.

I like games with 2D art far more than any 3D game i have seen

From 3D games, Zelda and Fable in general are my favourite due to art

uncharetd 2, i really couldn't believe how good the game look

FF12, and God of War 3 really did that for me.

I started late this gen, so Gears 2. But overall FF XIII amazed me the most this gen in terms of graphics.

Final Fantasy 13 is the best looking game I've ever played.

At the time I didn't think graphics could get any better than Myst. Unreal also made me feel similar. Recently, probably Crysis or Metro 2033.

Figtht Night round 6 for 360when it first came out new console. my brother actually thought he was watching Oscar De la hoya fight Roy Jones

EA Sports MMA impressed me.

GTAIV impressed me.

God Of War 3 impressed me.

Uncharted 2 Among Thieves impressed me.

Assassin's Creed 1 impressed me.

Resident Evil 4 impressed me.

Metal Gear Solid 4 impressed me.

These are the games that I can remember really just blowing me away when I first seen them.

Call of Duty 4 was one of the first shooters I played this gen and it blew me away.

The first Unreal on the PC, this game had PC's begging for their lives.

There was nothing like it back then, Crysis before Crysis.

The last jaw-dropping game I played was Crysis. It was a quite a graphical leap back in 07.

Star Wars Rouge Squadron II. That game looked just like the movies. That title made me believe in the little lunchbox and it still holds up to this day, especially when compared to the rest of the GCN/Wii library ;)

probably Doom 3 back in the day. it made GPUs cry tears of blood

Oblivion. The first time you walk outside and see this huge world, then you actually start to play in it and notice it's even more detailed than before. Before that it was Metroid Prime. Before that Mario 64.
