PC gamers don't have anything the quality of HZD to choose from in the PC library and there are straight up ANCIENT Sony PS3 ports on PC like Trails of Cold Steel that STILL command a minimum of $40 from PC peasants and they still eat it up with it almost never being on sale for cheaper.

LG B9... I get the hype behind OLED, I can't go back to LCD to watch movies. The B9/C9/E9 support GYSNC and HDMI 2.1 at 4K/120Hz, but since no one has anything with HDMI 2.1 its 1440/120Hz or 4K/60Hz with HDR at 10bit 4:2:2.

I can't wait till the 3080 Ti comes out so I can play at 4K/120Hz at 10bit RGB.

As a overall visual experience those exclusive games look good but when you look at the AF, excessive motion blur and low res textures and all the other cut corners to get those games looking and running on base consoles not so much, DF literally said that in God of War video.

I think its the art direction that distracts people with PS4 exclusives from a technical standpoint the aren't too impressive, which is proven by just the stark difference in settings the PC version and console versions have when it comes to settings and then the 30FPS, nah those games look great don't get me wrong but you can see those things when you look for them.

The most advance graphical feature you can have that makes a huge impact on visuals when compared to a regular setting change is Ray Tracing, then there are mods and the fact that the top 10 best looking games this generation are mostly multi platform its just no contest which platform is the best.

Star Citizen looks phenomenal... I just refuse to buy it till its a official game.

Its why I hope every game goes multi-platform, I don't like being held back by $400-500 consoles that are weaker than high end PC's from the day they release... 3-4 years from now we will be begging for a Pro model so we can get better Ray Tracing from a PS5 without sacrificing resolution.

We have been through this before and I am tired of hearing it, The consoles have nothing to do with them releasing games on PC and if consoles did not exist most of those console players would be forced to switch to PC or quit playing new games which most would switch to PC I am sure of this, those numbers have nothing to do with the point I was making. Please stop with those numbers as I was already aware of those when I posted, that does not change my point at all. My point is that if it was only PC in the market there would be tons more people buying them on PC and AAA games would continue to be made for PC and consoles don't have anything to do with PC getting AAA multiplat games. Wait, you can't set your TV to 4K/60Hz + HDR10 4:4:4? Because that's my default desktop setting...XD

/EDIT: I meant, usually i don't have enabled HDR by default the whole time, due to tonemapping, but it works fine anytime without chroma subsampling (which kicks in once i go to 4k/120Hz mode)

The main force behind pc is Asia, that's a fact. Their gaming habits have nothing to do with Europe or USA.

It's based on low barriers entry and micro transactions, just like mobile.

EU and US are the main force behind consoles, so even with your silly idea of negating the console market, Asia will remain the dominant pc market. Therefore the f2p/micro-transaction route will prevail.

Games are coded on pc, and compiled to a specific target platform. Porting them to the pc platform is an easy task.

Pc is also mostly digital so the delivery is also easy. That why they are ported to pc. But the bulk of this industry is not pc dependent.

Also creating these games requires wealth which the pc doesn't provide, unless you can tell us how.

@WESTBLADE: Sorry, I think that was me, What I was trying to say is if you compare console to PC and Console to mobile, That PC hardware and games is closer to console than it is to mobile and therefore if console did not exist, AAA games would go to PC(as mobile could not run them) and ex console gamers would mostly go to PC to play the type of games that mobile can't. I was trying to defend against his claim that PC would go like mobile and his claim that AAA games would go away if consoles died. I hope this makes sense now? Let me know if I need to clarify. You clearly haven't studies economics. That AAA/AA consumer base would need to be filled. They wouldn't just swap to mobile. They would swap to the same AAA/AA titles on PC.

@Grey_Eyed_Elf: Per an object motion blur is demanding DF loves the technique. The issues you are talking also exist on PC games. Control even on max settings has some shit textures occasionally. Every game in existence does if you really want to look for them. And if you want to run Raytracing at a playable framerate your down to 1080p up untill just recently. Yes consoles are limited to 30fps on their most impressive games but that will soon be a problem of the past.

Honestly the only game you mentioned that may arguably look better is RDR2 the rest are a clear step behind.

And a PC gamer owning a high end rig is always going to say his PC looks better. It sucks when a $400 prebuilt box rivals your $2000 rig in any way. The reality was I was tired of wasting money on hardware to find myself not getting any exclusive titles that took advantage of it after Crysis..

@WESTBLADE: It's gaming score is lower due to input lag at 1080p. You are graphics enthusiast correct? So you still game at 1080p? The A8f has the better picture quality period and its input lag at 4k is a non issue. Although if your using it as a PC monitor burn in could be an issue. In pure picture quality the A8f wins.

Consoles rarely push low settings on anything and the exclusives generally have higher assets then the multiplats on the same platform.

You also seem a bit confused. Your not Maxing much at 120fps unless your gaming at low resolution.
