Who agrees that 360 lineup for 2008 is vastly better than PS3 one ?

I don't think anybody is arguing that the 360 is lacking in the number of (console) exclusives. It's just so many of them are made by relatively obscure PC developers. And with a lot of them we don't really know enough to judge the games on their own merits rather than their developers track-record. espoac

Sacred 1 was a really good game, and 2 is being put out by the same studio,
I love the Tekken series, and own 5: DR from PSN,
comparing the 2 is pretty useless...
I don't see how you can compare a fighting game to an RPG, like, actually compare.
As far as exclusive, Sacred 2 is not an "exclusive" it's a PC port,

Isn't White Knight Story coming out this year? The only RPG I know that's coming out in 2008 is FF13 in Japan but since all games are region-free, I guess it doesn't matter there.

What he means is, almost all the jpn releases thus far have had english options due to the region free.

I bet everyone who has a 360 says yes, and everyone who has a PS3 says no..

That is not entirely correct. Will a Japanese title play in a North American or European PS3? Yes, but all the dialogue will still be in Japanese.

The Agency is a Spy MMO made by Sony Online Entertainment for the PC and PS3. It is due out some time this year. Previews have been decent but it isn't going to make a splash anywhere on the PC. Not sure about the PS3 though...

PERSONALLY, the 360 lineup kills the PS3 lineup for ME.

MGS 4 looks good but I have never really been a fan of MGS.

FF XIII also looks good but that won't be out until 2009.

LBP is one game I would love but it isn't enough to turn the tables(is almost enough though).

Killzone 2 looks OK but not great.

Resistance 2 has potential but they seem to be almost taking a Battlefield route with the MP, and there are other games with better single player sections.

And the entire rest of the lineup is "Meh" to me. I did do extensive research because I DID want to buy the best console for myself for Christmas. However, the PS3 lineup wasn't amazing to me. It was good but not amazing. Probably as good as the 360's '07 lineup. And to anyone wondering, i think both were overrated (PS3 '08 is overrated. It is good but it isn't "OMGWTFBBQ, this lineup owns every other lineup" like cows are pretending. Just like the 360 lineup for '07 wasn't all that amazing.

On the other hand, the 360 lineup had a lot of appeal to me.

Too Human is one of my most anticipated games. Looks fantastic.

Ninja Gaiden 2 looks fantastic as well.

Fable 2 looks great. I have really enjoyed all of Peter Molyneux previous games even if they didn't live up to his rediculous hype.

Then, there are all the 360/PC games that I was interested in. Most I will buy for my PC but renting them and playing them with friends does have a lot of appeal.

And those 3 above games outweigh the ENTIRE PS3 lineup for me because my MOST anticipated games are Multiplats anyway so it doesn't make a difference either way there... Not only that, but certain games that had released previously like Dead Rising, Mass Effect, and Ace Combat 6 really affected my choice.

Notice how I said In MY Opinion? GT5 was another game that almost turned the tables but I decided I was good with Forza 2.

The 360 has more games that INTEREST ME. But again, overall, the PS3 lineup IS overrated a bit. It is better than the 360 lineup (to most people) but it isn't THAT much better.

Okay if the reviews hold up the purchases I'll make for 360 are Too Human, Fable 2, Elveon, Ninja Gaiden 2 and Lost Odyssey

For the PS3 I'm getting Resistance 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet and White Knight Story.

PS3's lineup looks more solid but that could just be more my preference there's still alot of games that haven't been announced yet so we can't jump the gun.

Theres God of War 3, FF13, Haze, Heavnly Sword 2, Tekken 6, Infamous and then Versus 13 we still don't have information on plus 360 has a couple great games too. All I know is 08 is the year of being broke for me!

IMO PS3 2008 line up sucks just as bad as 2006 and 2007.

I'm getting a measily 2 games for my PS3 this year to add to my 3 other terrible games. For a grand total of 5.

360's line up isn't as strong as 2007... But it is way better then PS3's 2008 line up.

I'm getting 15+ games for my 360 this year to add to my other awesome games. For a grand total of over 50+ games.
