All it does have is MGS4, for those that liek the series that is

PS3 has one of the worst lineups i have ever seen in 2008 TBH, covers only 2 genres, 360 covers ALL genres, and wiht vastly better looking games IMO, and more for each genre too

IMO PS3 has the edge for 2008. It has a very big game coming out which is MGS4. Now if 360 had Gears of War 2 coming out in 08 (which I doubt it will probably get delayed just like the 1st one) then I would say 360.

Cows are saying 2008 lineup is going to crush 360's, but that's the say thing they said about 2007 with...Lair, Ratchet, Uncharted, and warhawk, and they flopped badly. 2008 only touts two proven franchises in GT and MGS, everything else is unproven including LBP and the sequel to a terrible game Killzone and a sequel to a mediocore FPS in Resistance 2. Cows are so blinded by all the QUANTITY, that they fail to see terrible, right now, looking games like...Haze. In my opinion, 360 has more proven franchise releases in Splinter Cell, Fable 2, Ninja Gaiden 2, Banjo, and maybe Gears II.

You can type all those games into gamespot search engine and all you are going to get is 360 or 360/PC except for project offset, but if you go to their website, it says it right there 360/PC.

I am not about to read page after page to see if anyone mentioned RTS titles. X360 has 5 coming out this year that will not be on PS3. Halo Wars, Supereme Commander, Universe at War, World in Conflict, and C&C Kanes Wraith.

2007 was the year of the shooters and racers for X360.

X360 is looking good for RTS's and RPG's in 2008.

When you own both systems, it doesn't matter which lineup is better.

Actually you need to check again... Project Offset is for the PS3 as well, and will DEFINITELY not make it out in 2008. Neither will Alan Wake, Elveon, Infinite Undiscovery, or Warhound... If the TC assumes that Infamous has disappeared, than all of these have died with the exception of Alan Wake. Alan Wake is the only game in the entire list that is actually worth looking forward to in the first place though... unfortunately, they have yet to reveal any gameplay footage and there is no indication that the game will be ready for a release this year. NG2 will be awesome.

Couldept Saga and Circle of Doom have already been receiving very mediocre reviews... and in the latest 1UP podcast, they say that Halo Wars is milkage of the franchise that is going to dissapoint a lot of gamers... which only emphasizes the point of the TC's list, not much worth looking forward to on the 360 this year as far as exclusives go. Plenty of great multiplats though. The TC is obviously a fanboy... there is just much more to look forward to on the PS3 when it comes to exclusives this year.

So please...don't come out here makeing up a BS list like that and clame ownage...because the only one who has been owned is you!!

You owned yourself again. The TC listed 360 lineup. Is that so hard to understand? He didn't list EXCLUSIVES, but all the games that will available for playing on a 360 user. The fact that 360 has a lot of crossovers doesn't take away anything from that lineup.

Oh! Do you work on Project Offset. I didn't know you knew the release date. Also, I said GO to projectoffeset.com. Read the FAQ. It saids only for PC and 360.

And yes, I agree that there more exclusives to look forward, not necessary in quality, because those games aren't out yet, but I am hyped for MGS and Resistance 2 as much as I am hyped for Fable 2 and Too Human.

Let me explain to you what exclusive means. A game is exclusive as long as it can be only found on on platform, and wheter you like it or not the PC is a platform. I myself have a damn good gaming PC (just finished buliding it 2 months back) and I'll be playing all your so called "exclusives" on it like Alan Wake, Universe At War, Huxley, Warhound, Sabotage...where as you won't be able to play the PS3 exclusives elsevere other than on the PS3 itself...no they won't be on the PC!

So please...don't come out here makeing up a BS list like that and clame ownage...because the only one who has been owned is you!!

You owned yourself again. The TC listed 360 lineup. Is that so hard to understand? He didn't list EXCLUSIVES, but all the games that will available for playing on a 360 user. The fact that 360 has a lot of crossovers doesn't take away anything from that lineup.

Besides the total inaccuracy of your comparison, the games for the PS3 appeal to me much more than those of 360.

yeah pretty much. the only reason 360/ps3 multiplats aren't listed is because it would just be pointless. And why would it be pointless?? Because we're comparing the 360 and ps3 right now. Unless there's something that makes the game different for that console (like GTA 4 bonus missions, etc.)

I did not change the topic!! I just called the list BS! wich it is!! That's all!!

In all honesty, from the line-up I know of (i'm not gonna list it but a quick search on ign will show ya) but I think the PS3 has many more appealing games. Btw, last year the developers of White Knight Chronicles insisted it would come out sometime in fall '08 here, so I don't see why its not on your list. And in terms of what I prefer and enjoy and am actually hyped for, yes the PS3 has a much superior line-up (to me) than the 360's.

The only game I was hoping for was Ninja Gaiden 2, but that game looks like its gonna be a disappointment. The only thing they may get my attention is gears 2, but seeing as how Epic is using the unreal 3 engine once again, I don't think the game is gonna be as impressive as the first one, since the major selling-point of gears 1 was graphics.

I didn't bother read all the pages but how can you do a topic just like that? without even thinking or researching first cause you obviously are minformed or you lack of knowldge.... Just because i bothered writing this where is Ratchet & Clank for platformers? Where is Uncharted: Drake's fortune for Action/Adventure or Ninja Gaiden Sigma for Action?....

I don't support consoles because games are all that matter for me. Games make the consoles. But as you make it a quantity match i reported those games. However still Xbox360 has a bigger lineup and I would personally prefer it for the moment... Until MGS4, FFXIII, Killzone 2, GT5 release and still stand to their hype.

Hmmm, have you not seen any of the games listed in this thread? Because i really don't feel like pulling out a list right now. Or do you just assume that since a few 360 games go to the PC/ps3, that they all do? Because you'd be wrong. Either that or you haven't done any research. But you're entitled to your own opinion i guess, even if it's one of a fanboy.

Umm the only games worth listing are alan wake and ng2, alan wake is on pc so I can play that on my pc with better graphics(GG lemming) the rest are trash man, none of those games live up to what the ps3 is bringing GET OVER IT LEMMING.

Well you can call me a fanboy for all I care and you might be right because I prefer playing on Playstation above anything else but that still doesn't change the fact that most of the 360 titles (90%) can be found either on the PS3 or on the PC! You can't deny that!! I did research...maybe you should do that same...and insted of reading Xbox only magazines and websites you should look around! You'll see that most 360 games are on the PC as well and some of them are on the PS3 as well!

And let's see. PS3's exclusives: Lair- 4.5, Heavenly Sword- 8.0, Uncharted- 8.0, Ratchet- 7.5, Warhwak- 8.5. Awesome. You know what, at least 360 has quality games to play on. Whether the game is on 360 and PC is irrelevant until PS3 comes out with better games because exclusives PS3 has are major failures right now.

Seriously, you are making yourself look bad every time you post. Since you have no clue what the point of this thread was, I guess I will just have to explain to you. It was a comparison between all the game available for 360 that are not on PS3 versus all the games not available on Xbox 360, but on PS3. Granted, some of the games were missing, but nothing too important for the PS3.

The point of this post was to put down the PS3 yet again! And that anyos me! It seams like that no matter what happens some people will try to put the PS3 down in whatever way they can!

Now when it goes the other way! When someone tries to put the 360 down than that guy is an idiot right? But oh, it's ok to put the PS3 down.

The list was there. The things the TC said, yes, that was fanboyish, but people should know that games are matter of taste. As far as what we were arguing about was the list, so don't change topics.

I did not change the topic!! I just called the list BS! wich it is!! That's all!!

It's missing Jak, White Knights, and such, but it's not too bad of a list. It's got all the big hitters of 2008--Resistance 2 and MGS 4.

You have a poin there that I can't argue against! The PS3 exclusives got bad ratings here. True! But Uncharted and Ratched got AAA scores from many other sites and mags. And also I enjoyed Lair too!! Call me what you want but I liked the game...it was unique! One of my friends from Hungary just came out here and he's not exposed to all that system wars crap that we are and I puped in Lair and told him to try it out!! He was amazed by it....interesting. Moveing along HS was also great...I finished it ones only...than I replayed a couple of missions. Warhawk was awsome man!! One of the ebst online games that I ever played. (COD4 is the best) Ratched...well I finished Ratched 3 times in a row..I really enjoyed that game and tought that I got my moneys worth. Uncharted...that game I finished 4 times, once on each difficulty. Resistance, I finished it 4 times again and once in co-op. And than I couldn't wait to get Gears of War for my PC and than I got it and you know what??? It'c crap! It's pure crap!! I still have the game but I will send it back to Microsoft for a refound (oh yea, they do that) that game was horrible...I rather play Lair than Gears of War.

So there it is...it just goes down to your taste of games. To me Sony did not dissapoint! And this year all of my favorite games come out. Tekken 6, Soul Calibur 4, MGS4, Tomb Raider 8, Devil May Cry 4....these are sequels to the games I loved and I'm sure they will be good! To me the PS3 has no failures...just some faults that can be fixed easily!
