Who already knows they are not purchasing a Wii-U

It would be rather thick headed of someone to already decide not to ever buy the WiiU before the console even releases. Nobody knows what the console will be 3-5 years down the line.

That's the same tune being sung since the N64 and while that is my favourite console the line up compared to the PS1 simply was nothing.

I'm not sure. Borderline for me. The launch games do look interesting however it's the price i'm worried about. If it stays under 200 pounds then maybe. If they release a new metroid, xenoblade or samurai warriors 3 (similar like dynasty warriors/you vs pretty much an entire army) then i'd most likely get one.

I'll probably pick one up eventually.

I knew I wasn't buying Nintendo's next console when I returned my Wii a few years ago. Their E3 conference and statements haven't helped change my mind.

I'm on the fence about picking one up at launch or not but I'm almost certain I will get one eventually. Rayman Legends, NSMBWU, and especially Zombie U have my attention and I know many more games I will love will be on their way.

Of course. Even though I hardly play my Wii ever, and there were big gaps at times where I wouldn't have anything to play on it, I still consider it worth buying due to the great exclusives that you can't get anywhere else. Unless you have serious money issues or just don't like Nintendo games at all, there isn't much of a reason to NOT get one at some point imo. I'm sure it'll have a solid amount of great 3rd party exclusives too such as P-100 which looks great.

It's too early to decide. But as it stands right now, the exclusives for it don't seem all that exciting. Mario/Zelda/Metroid all over again, with same gameplay etc etc. ZombiU looks interesting, but interesting enough to warrant buying a console just for that. And with the logical exclusives for the ps4 (maybe they won't be exclusives, but I doubt that) such as KH3, MGS5, propably FFvs13, holding on to see at least what's announced for that is much wiser.

No way in hell I will. Buy a glorified current gen system with "no reason to have graphics as good as Xbox 3/Ps4". Just...no. The controller is mind blowingly bad and I don't think their awesome first party is enough this time. Maybe in 5 years or more I'll pick one up for $100 or something, but that's just to play Mario. For now it's the dumbest thing Nintendo could do. All in my opinion which I know many disagree with.

will be picking one up at launch, i love nintendo's first pary games and as much as system wars hates to admit it, the wii was a great stytem for playing wih people locally.

Some of the best times ive had this gen was having some friends over and playing smash bros, mario kart, wario ware smooth moves, or gasp the just dance games.

I'm buying a Wii-U, Nintendo has great 1st party exclusives and this time it looks like they are having great 3rd party titles as well (the AC devs said AC3 will be best on Wii-U).

I'm going with PS4 and Wii-U next gen, not interested in the next Xbox unless they make some changes for the better (reliable hardware next gen, free online gaming, better exclusives ect....).

The Wii-U alone will offer more reasons for me to buy one than a 360 does.

I want to get one, but it depends on the price. I'm also planning on getting a 3DS in the near future, so in that case it might be a while before I pick up a Wii U.

Why would anyone buy a console now or a launch console? Makes no sense, none of the consoles have much worth playing atm and launch games pretty consistently suck. blue_hazy_basic
