I know I wont. Never liked Nintendo games that much. I even think SMG (the 1st, never played the 2nd but it looks basically the same) is the second most overrated game this gen after Halo 3

I bought both the Gamecube and Wii and enjoyed them for the most part. The Wii I enjoyed a little less as it's library is pretty limited (I have 20+ games) and about 2 years ago, I picked up a PS3. During the Wii launch, I didn't care too much for graphics as the game play on some of the games was so good I could overlook them. I enjoyed Red Steel 2, Silent Hill: SM and the Zelda games quite a bit .

Nowadays though, I expect any console I purchase to provide a decent jump in graphic capability. I'm not convinced the Wii-U has that. Additionally, because of the unique controller, I'm concerned few third party devs will take advantage of it in significant ways that change the play experience. I foresee the Wii-U library possibly being even slimmer on good third party support than the Wii and that might be a deal breaker this time. I'm not going to buy a $300 box for 1-2 Nintendo games a year and token third party support. I'm going to wait and see how this develops.

Well if Sony is capable of making a decision like that I don't see why Nintedo isn't. It doesn't take a rocket scientists to hold a controller and say if it's comfortable or not.

On top of that these companies almost always have people test their systems before even announcing them, and take feedback from developers.

I'd like to see some of those reports but it does look uncomfortable to me. I already played in a tablet (and this looks similar) and its still better to play on a regular controller. The wiimote was also reportedly confortable to play with and imho I never liked to play with it. The shape never fit well with my hands. this is my opinion anyway

Its not a terrible analogy. You just didnt get it. My point was: You can see if something will be uncomfortable only by its estetic. I dont give a fvck about reports if I can see with my own eyes I wont like playing with it. People were saying the wiimote was comfortable too and I never liked to play with it

That was years ago, Nintendo today is a very different company from what they were back then.

I'm not. I'll be content with Vita and 3DS XL next gen. I can play them While I'm: on the bus, waiting for class, skydiving, driving, on SW, doing heart surgery. I'll have so many more opportinities to game over the next year now that im going handhled only. Of course I'll still support the PS3 until it goes out.

I'm not buying it. I don't care about Nintendo games. Haven't own a nintendo console since the Super Nitendo.

Didnt vote as there wasnt an option for NOT buying any nextgen consoles..Im done keeping up with the trash we get now days. Half done games,high priced maps,ect...faulty hardware..just not doing it anymore. Moving to Vegas and will have more on my mind then gaming..

They're bigger then most people yes. I'm a tall person. But isnt because of that I found the wiimote to be uncomfortable. Its retangular shape does not fit well with someones hands. It almost made me feel like I was holding a thiner brick

The move, as much as I still hate motion controls, at least had a rounded shape with gentil curves that fit better with someones hand

I already have a home console, therefore I prefer the nintendo handheld.

i am buying a wii u those who dont are nuts , the xbox360 has ran its run its time to kick that can down the road sorry ,

as i look ahead on that particular console all i see is a forza 5 , halo 4-dont like call of duty-multiplat , gta v-getting , 007 legends -questionable multiplat, saints row 4- getting on all platforms , um and wwe 13 , multiplat , 360 has done its time ps3 how ever is questionable ,

it just got off its feet , the wii has definatelly came and left its mark so i think its time for me to move on to the wii u ,

3ds is still awsome as is ds , psp meh and vita so far has let me down , ive had it with this gen its time its over for good let the new consoles roll in , im ready ,

i dont know about you but if my 360 cans tommorow im not buying another one, ill just do the smart thing -get a wii u ,

and weither or not it happens im still getting the wii u day one , i think ive bought to many games this gen im satisfied with leaving it behind , to many fpses to many shovelware time to move on !

I stopped caring for Nintendo consoles after GC. No proper HDD, No concrete info regarding specs, lack of concrete support from developers, but more wishful thinking & boring optimistic babble, same boring BS information regarding their GamePad....all simply equates to NO THANKS, Nintendo.

Nintendo's last two generational offerings (GC and Wii) have been awful for me. They seem to refuse to fix the online and continue to release the same franchises I have played since I started gaming. I'm just not interested anymore. senses_fail_06

I'll be getting it eventually. I like my Nintendo games.

Waiting till either the next Super Mario Mario 3d Platformer or next Super Smash Bros comes out. Whichever one comes out first.

I'm going to get it later on when either there is a decent library of games that I like or Fire Emblem is out.

Right now, ZombiU is the only launch game that interest me. I'll likely wait a few months after launch if WiiU actually delivers, particularly in 3rd party support. This is actually the first time since N64, that I'm actually excited for a Nintendo console.

Next gen, it seems likely I'll be owning both PS4 and WiiU. But again it depends on how WiiU delivers, so I'll just keep on open eye for it.

I wouldn't make a decision now based on the small handful of games we've seen for it so far.

I wouldn't buy it day one anyway. I'll never buy another console day one, unless the next Half Life is somehow exclusive to it.

I probably buy one later if they get out a interesting Zelda/Metroid game, if not no chance in hell i get WiiU.

Out of topic but why aren't they remaking WiiWii's numchucks? It looks like cheap sh!t from Walmart compared to ps3's waggle. Re-using same controller from last gen, gg Nintendo.silversix_
