And they did give you a standard HDD with $299 price tag. Sony has HDMI but no HDMI cables, only composite which is kind of funny. Also, you honestly mean to tell me that Sony didn't put out lots of hardware revisions for the PS3?

MS dosen't promis much and delivers less than that. When they do promise you can guarantee it will be overblown and they won't deliver. I can still remember some of the promises MS made about how Halo 2 was going to be, what a load of crap that was...and don't get me started on Fable. At lesast for this gen, for the most part Sony has been the one company that's been delivering on their promises.

where/when did they promise those features? And I would guess Sony probably have the same # of SKU's in less time
4D, dual hdmi ports, and gaming at 120fps? Yeah that crown goes to Sony but they have been improving. Microsoft's hardware blows but they consistently released great software since launch.

Really get out of technicaly ambitious marketing propaganda and talk about what really matters, GAMES. If want to dwell on rediclious marketing propaganda MS promised "the Zen of gaming" what's that? MS also said that they*sticks pinky in my mouth* would reach a BILLION users with xbox360. Non of that suff means anything.
The only real grip I can see anyone having is if a compnay promised an amazing concept of a gameand then totaly underdelivered on the final product. Sony promised out of this world graphics on consoles which Is why I got one, but I still havent seen anything breath taking over 360

Neither have I. The EveryQuest 2 game I saw running in HD about 4 years ago still beats out anything I've seen on the PS3. UC2 is close, but that EQ2 game looked like it was in 3D it was so brilliant. I think it was the raw version of the game, as once I got the game and played it at home, the graphics clarity and brilliance dropped almost 50%. Anyway, besides Uncharted 2, I haven't seen anything on the PS3 that has exceeded what's on the XBox 360. Sony lied to everyone just to try and sell their overpriced PS3. People didn't buy it though.

And Lemmings it turns out.... I really haven't heard much promise from MS. Not to the extent of Sony at least. 4D, 120FPS, and the KZ2 "trailer" is all that needs to be said. At least until Natal comes out. :D

They delivered for me. Gears 2, Halo 3, Mass Effect, Fable 2, PGR IV, Dead or Alive, Left 4 Dead, Crackdown 1 & 2, Lost Odyssey, Dead Rising, Infinite Undiscovery, Lost Planet plus getting PS3 exclusives like Assassin's Creed, FF XIII, Tekken 6, Beautiful Katamari, DMC IV, GTA IV, Star Ocean onto the XBox 360 was brilliant. Microsoft delivered the games. The first 3yrs were incredible. Last years wasn't the greatest, but it was still good.

Its a two part question, one of which is very opinionated. Say may have over promised but to some the under deliverances (which is opnion) of microsoft outweighs the overpromises of Sony.
