How could you know that their games won't sell well on the PS3 if they were ported over? Lots of multiplats on the PS3 have already started to catch up to or sometimes even surpass 360's sales.[QUOTE="normal_gamer"][QUOTE="rzepak"]
Anyone who answers the question with: they are lazy, they arent good enough, theyre fanboys shows themselves as either crazy or 12...Its a buisness decision. They do not need PS3 to make a large profit on their games. Also for the most part multiplatform games tend to sell better on the 360. And finally becouse PS3 development is considered alot different than on PC/360 they would need to spend more time than theyd like to port the game over. People forget that Valve is a mid size dev studio and the number of games they are working on is probobly already stretching their workforce.

How could you know that the sales would cover the porting costs? Everyone in this thread is only assuming different things, some less and some more logical.
Well if PS3 games sales don't cover porting costs then why do you think that most big devs go through the hassle of porting their games over to the PS3?
