Also, this thread should probably be renamed, as it isn't the xbox or nintendo fans who do this. It's really only one very deluded group, and they've been doing it since Uncharted 1 trailers.

Then they turn around around and say you only need to spend $400 for a PC to beat current consoles to run games at 1080p. And we both know a $400 PC isn't running games at anything higher.

What's different about you generalising about PC gamers?

I game almost exclusively on PC, I do have a powerful PC and play all my games at 1440p (4k not cost effective atm) and I certainly don't believe anyone should spend $400 on a PC primarily for gaming use.

Look, I'm not after an argument here I just thought coming in on the side of someone who is obviously trolling is not the best idea as it makes the supporter look as foolish as the troll. It's also definitely not a good base for a proper discussion.

And the vast majority of PC gamers (this board alone) don't play by those rules. They do exactly what I said. That or they just don't speak up or they say the usual "I can run it....that's all that matters"....yet they're speaking generally.

Because its system wars. Graphics do matter to an extent. But look at the Order and Ryse. Those were mediocre titles at best. I'd much rather play something like Bloodborne. Not a stunner, but its fun as hell.

The thing you're missing here is that more often than not the PlayStation fanboys are pitting their games against PC, not Xbox One. They're not rubbing the faces of Lemmings in anything, it was exactly the same last gen as well. Every new PS4 exclusive is hailed as a graphics king by certain individuals, a claim that has been shown to be false on every occasion and yet they still persist.

This post alone is normally enough to bring in Uncharted 4, Until Dawn, The Odour etc. screenshots and claims they are better than anything on PC.

It is hard for a console fanboy to really argue multiplat graphics with a hermit in the room. Screen comparisons are usually biased in one way or another. Unless there's a related technical issue on a certain console like load times, glitches, texture pop-in, or drops in frame-rate, then a multiplat is a win-win. No one talks about exclusives anymore.
