Why do people say that Crysis/Warhead has no artstyle? (56k)

They are blind fanboys at alot of sites, thats why reviews can not be taken seriously (or awards for that matter).

^^ I love MGS4, Gears of war 2 and the other games people are brining up in this thread. Hell i even enjoy some of em more then Crysis Warhead, but your blind if you have played Crysis warhead on a great computer and you dont think its better graphically then MGS4 or Gears2.

MGS series is one of my all time favs, so i usually defend it in most situations, but with this graphics topic its not even close. Crysis warhead >>> all as far as graphics go. I own gears2, mgs4 and crysis warhead and its a landslide in teh graphics department imo, the other two might eb better games, but graphically warhead is king. I dont care what some websites say to be honest, they are not going to form my opinion for me, After putting 50+ hours into mgs4,gears2 and crysiswarhead, my honest non fanboy opinion is that crysis warhead has better graphics by a long shot. Just like MGS4 wins by a landslide in the story department between those 3 games.

maybe crysis's overdone hdr is blinding you and you arent seeing the flaws of its graphics.

the game really is far from impressive.

the only things you can consider facts are the number of polygons, hardware requirements, features like parallax occlusion mapping , soft particles etc etc. crysis wins in everythingSamiRDuran

And again no it doesnt and all that only matters when your playing it on high on an expensive rig. Denial is very obvious here in this thread. Warhead didn't win big deal. The other games got what they deserved anyway.

Crap like this is the reason I'm annoyed at those awards.

A year from now everyone is going to forget what is going on right now and just remember PS3 got best graphics of the year 2008 from most sites, which people will frequently bring up as matter of fact; completely ignorent to the arguing going on over this.

PS3 users are rationalizing their way to stop people rejecting this just because they want to boast about it later, everyone knows Warhead is the graphics king of this year and not MGS4.
